What kind of work are you doing? I work 10.5 hour days so that I have 3 days off in a row. It sucks too, but it's worth it.
I work for painting at my college over the summer. It's pretty brain dead work. But it's from 7am to 3:30pm with two half hour breaks. It's a 40 hour work week at minimum wage so there's that I guess. Everyone kept congratulating me like it was done kind of huge achievement. Like yay I get to work
This only highlights the cancerous mindset in capitalistic societies that your worth is the value of money you make/the job you have.
Idk how old you are, but the only real takeaway you can get from this is it's something you can chalk up for experience to put on resumes for future better paying jobs.
I wholeheartedly agree, and from what I've been told, the mindset is more of an American thing, hence why I want to leave. BUT being 22 my life is basically over and I'll never amount to more than a janitor

10 hours a day 4 days a week, 17 miles away from my city. Get on my level.
I would rather do that. I also worked before doing 4 hours a day, five days a week, but it was an hour to and from

there's nothing wew about what he just said
why don't you think so
are people not allowed to feel discontent with their current position in life
of coursh
To say it's beneath you is a different story though
That's unamerican.

Fuck that.
I don't work full time for less than $10/h If someone has valued my labor at minimum wage then they obviously don't need it full time.
Tell me about it. But it was either a guaranteed job away from my mother, or risking not finding anything at home again and dealing with her fits

Well you're half right. The job is easy as piss, but I still hate the work to death mindset Tbh I'd like cubicle work for a life insurance company or something. But I'm just trying to suck it up for the summer so I can move to Germany and take my chances with the brownies

Older people always says kids will like capitalism once they get their first real job.
Well shit, nobody has made them eat their words harder than me.

It sucked. Older people always says kids will like capitalism once they get their first real job. I don't buy it, especially when there are countries with only 35 hour work weeks that are considered full time. Fuck this country's obsession with working yourself to death.

I dont think ive ever liked a style specifically. If it looks comfy ill wear and like it.
In warmer climates, this is how dadcore was invented, just warning you.
I wear clothes that are exxagerably comfortable, in neutral, or dark colors, and often black.
This often looks like a tight pair of pants and a long sleeved button down shirt several sizes too large, when It's cold enough the shirt is replaced with a sweater and over that, if its cold enough, a well fitting coat.
You can dress comfortably and without turning into the type of person who wears polos and cargo shorts with white socks and brown suede keds
I have at least that much style in me to avoid looking like a complete moron <.<
I do have specific types of clothing i like but not overall styles or fads or whatever.
Be a skater boy
