I usually post with some retarded humor but i'll spare people

Sobering fact, 18 shootings happened so far in 2018

That means every day there is a 3/5 chance of there being a shooting like this.

I think I'd rather just wait for Mount and Blade 2.
You'll be waiting like another 2 or 3 years at least

idk if that game is ever coming out

That's fine, I still need to come up with the money for Total War: Three Kingdoms.
You have a year to do so, so plenty of time.

Enjoying it a lot so far. Only thing that's not that great is the lockpicking mini game. I've gotten the hang of it, but doesn't feel great, at least with a controller, feels like it was designed for mouse & keyboard first
Ye they said they're going to adjust the saving and lockpick mechanics.

I'm legit annoyed, I've been having my eye on this for the last year and a half.

Is there any way to play in third person? The camera shaking during combat is making be nauseous.

No, but see if there is a head shaking option. Keep in mind it's going for a more realistic and grounded approach.

Didn't look into it too much. Is it like Mount & Blade Warband?
Think of more combat precision and the most historically accurate Medieval project you can think of. The developers came in wanting to nail historical accuracy left and right, and how you fight/deal with people. The main appeal as well is that the game will move on without you if you don't go to places. So for example in Skyrim someone will say "meet me at this town" and go and wait forever.

In Deliverance they'll go and if you don't show up by a certain time, they'll go on without you. No way points either to complete quests (more so an aoe around a map telling you it's somewhere here) so the game doesn't hold your hand and wants you to actually think at times.

Ya know, for someone who goes on about a white ethno-state free of Jewish manipulation, I find it odd how you haven't seen the light of the one true European religion.

Sorry, meant the State.
As in the wholesome, white, Christian, ethnically homologous nation that we strive to build.

Sometimes I walk past her to get to the area where I'm working. What would be a good thing to say to start a small conversation as I'm walking by?
Duh

You just need to learn how to

A. Break the ice and

B. Maintain a conversation that isn't just small talk and you assaulting her with questions

Anyway, my most radical belief would be that you should have to pass a test on what you know about the basics of the country you are in to vote
We have The Voting Rights Act of 1965 for a reason; it is extremely easy to take these concepts and create barriers that discriminate against minorities.

It sounds really rudimentary, but as far as I see the only way that can't fuck up is encouraging more people to vote and educating the greater populace about identifying credible and reliable sources. It's not perfect, but discouraging voting (or the opposite, mandatory voting) is counterproductive to maintaining a nation that defines itself by its ideas of freedom, where the individual's actions are defined by his or her ability and willingness to act upon them.
Yeah I'm well aware there are things where good intentions go bad, and I'm no fool in thinking if my idea were to be implemented, it wouldn't go down that path. Hence why if I legit had the option to implement it, I wouldn't. It's just appealing sometimes.

I just wish people took voting and the people they elect far more serious than what's been shown, but on the bright side out of all the shit that's happened, I think Brexit was a wake up call to the Brits that your vote actually DOES matter (hence Labour sweeping seats at the last election), and the US is more politically active and aware than ever before, regardless of the side they're on. In fact if you say you don't follow politics in today's political environment, you'd probably be looked at more negatively than someone who says they're keeping up and informed. And that's not really something we've seen in the US since the Vietnam era.

Hey don't be mad it's never worked in any country that's tried it

"b-b-b-b-but that's not REEL Communism"

good job, maybe that's because humans aren't capable of implementing true communism, so stop dancing on your retarded little Utopian world and promoting a type of government that gets off to oppressing its citizens and having shitty economies unless they reform

Fuck you, Joseph Stalin.

Verb you ever think you might have depression but your personality refuses to place yourself in such a bad light?

The Flood / Re: How do I boost my confidence
« on: February 02, 2018, 02:05:31 PM »
Well yeah, might is the better word. It might not work out for everyone because everyone is different. When I say workout, I don't mean just do some workouts and you'll feel better. It needs to be accompanied by a lifestyle change and a desire to improve if and only if you're sick of the life you are living. It's not a one goal solution because if it was, I doubt anyone would be depressed if they had the answer right in front of them. Honestly if you're depressed, what I'd recommend first is therapy and help on that front.
thank you, that's much more reasonable

that's why my first response was "so basically it's not worth it" though, because i honestly don't think any girl is worth changing your entire lifestyle over, but that's jono's prerogative if he wants to do that
Sorry, I was coming at it from a more removed and general stance

Yeah if your only desire is to get better at this JUST to get women, you need to slow down and take a look at yourself first. That's an issue I see with people where they think their dissatisfaction with life will suddenly poof away with a woman in their life, which is usually not the case. I'd only recommend getting in a relationship when you're in a good place with yourself since it requires a lot of attention and dedication.

i also play competitive games, if you don't understand why competitive games take energy, i'm not sure what to tell you
that you're being elitist and hating on the very things you're doing?

yeah

sorry buddy, I talk to people every day who are in platinum ranking shit like on League, and while I loathe that game, they're in far more competitive environments than you.

they seem to have energy as well
because they aren't wasting their time at the gym
Yes but you JUST said- nvm, AAAAAAAAAA
