Like if there is a way to be anti-pirate or at least appeal to that crowd

it's how Nintendo does things

In fact, Verby-kun

The fact Nintendo makes such different games and unique consoles entices me to actually get the console and support them, rather than just stick to PC games and not support Sony/Microsoft with their consoles

we're obviously talking about multiplatform games here if we're comparing the amount of money the publishers/devs make on a console sale vs a pc sale. console exclusives don't play into this conversation at all.
because they invalidate your entire position
they also invalidate your disastrous claim that is judged on a case by case basis, while throwing out like the other 80% of the market

should we ignore all of that just so you can claim you were right once more? I know at the end of the day that's what you want out of this. to say you were right and we were oh so wrong

I'll save you the trouble. You are right. Just not all the time in regards to steam and games on PC.

this is a negative
Not for them making profits it's not

thus, not a negative

you only say it is because you like physical copies. What you prefer is subjective. What the developer gains via money and revenue is objective
and as it turns out, the only video games worth playing on this entire planet are the ones that are not available on steam
that makes no sense, verb

cross platform is something that exists for almost everything
so i can purchase and play zelda on my PC, legally and morally
that's a console exclusive

you didn't answer my question, and LC says the same thing

cross platform is what we're on about
well, i'm not
well in your case, no you cannot. But that doesn't suddenly invalidate the entire cross platforming option. Just because something can be done (pirating), doesn't mean it always is going to be.

If you want to bring morals into it, you CAN murder anyone whenever you want. Doesn't mean you're going to.

yeah but what if making more money is a negative ?????????

in our current society it takes money to make art. so if you want more art to be produced you have to support the people who are actually making it. not the people who are looking to double or triple dip for pure profit on the same piece of art while the actual artist makes very little by comparison.
And this is why Gamestop is slowly going under. Games going digital is in fact helping the people who make games.

yeah but those things aren't worth caring about
exactly

we're talking about people who can't even comprehend why someone would think this way though

it's ultimately their loss—we can be satisfied with basically anything; they can only be satisfied if their fastidious demands are met
don't fall off that high horse

you can't even comprehend how high it is
the irony of a pc gamer telling me this
but i'm on my PS3 right now
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
because of that, I just got off of it, and now i'm gonna play a pc game

think about what you did

i'll keep calling her cystic just to spite you

Cystic would go into way too much depth and probably come to the same conclusion.

Yeah I remembered after I posted, Verb. sorry, I'm having an argument with someone while doing this, so fuck off a little.

I don't know if I can help you unless I am operate in Canadian land dollars. Nothing on my end will net me something in your range. You might have to ask a fellow Canada man.

Or as Verb said  "it's really difficult/impossible to build a working PC for that cheap"

I'd figured our past interactions would be telling enough to know I'm kidding
well, not when you unironically suggest him a $600 build after being told that he's not interested in spending that much money, regardless of what it's capable of
What? You said no in regards to frames and my Dark Souls thing was a joke. Not the $600 thing.

Besides I said $500. Not that it matters.

how about you just do what i asked instead of trying to do my thinking for me. there are variables you haven't considered or even know about.
Lol

well first, get the stick out of your ass, because I don't have to do shit for you. Second, why don't you tell me whats up so I can actually try to help you.

And sorry, but the laptop thing is a real thing. It might honestly be better for you. It's not me doing thinking for you, it's me trying to tell you what the heck is happening so you don't feel like you waste money. Forgive me if I'm trying to actually help you get the most out of your budget.

it was a joke you autist

i'm using a computer with an illegal copy of windows on hardware that was bottom-end in 2004, built to do spreadsheets and nothing else. i already have a good laptop.
no it wasn't

alright then

To be serious though Verby-chan, I know not everyone cares about the HD graphics. Heck some of the games I play are deliberately lower just so I can have more/stable frames (Battlefield 1 mostly, the game is shit). The resolution thing though I won't accept on a monitor for myself because it feels like I need glasses. You can run proper resolution without it killing frames, they're not tied to one another.
