just seems like a flavor of the month kind of game. looks almost as boring as dayz
I thought that when it first came out, but every other week it seems to be that it's breaking new records for how many it's selling. It's been more than a few months now so I don't think player population is dying like it did with H1Z1. Only game I see taking away from it is Escape from Tarkov, and even then that's just a different game entirely as well.

When it works, it's great. When it doesn't... well. It's early access for a reason.
I enjoy playing it but it is still clearly in early access for one key reason. Optimization.
the LAAAAAAG for the first 10 minutes of every match can be atrocious, being stuck on screen for up to a min at a time (I've had to quit the game a few times over it) if you try to open your tab screen while things are loading.
And the other is just sometimes it takes forever for the houses in front of you to load when you first land, and that can be crucial. So idk, if you wanna try it, go ahead, but at the same time nothing will kill you if you wait for them to stabilize it more.
Game is insanely fun when it works. Insanely frustrating when it doesn't. Take that how you will.

The MP was fucking good though
Before any patches, you had to have it on max to get the bestest ending in SP iirc.
