The mutliplayer looks so shitty to me because CoD and loot boxes. There is actually a challenge or whatever to watch someone else open loot boxes.

The SP though I've been watching a game movie of it. It's great for the cutscenes and dialogue and stuff but the actual shooting in it is just typical stupid AI lining up and you shooting them down with no challenge.
MP looks pretty decent to me. I don't care that much about the SP anyways.
I've grown tired of CoD MP since I played every one up to Black Ops 2 and then called it quits after that. I really just enjoy something along the likes of BF more, but I can see why people like CoD MP. Just not for me, and I can't support even more loot boxes.

The SP I personally take an interest in because it's not some future tech meme crap, but actually seems to take a lot of care of selling the WW2 atmosphere. Still watching, so I don't have a final verdict yet, but it's pretty okay so far in terms of characters and cutscenes. Gameplay is still rather just the same mouth hanging drooling tier boredom unfortunately, as mentioned above.

Hated it back on the Xbox.
It's much better on PC if performance was an issue for you

Didn't like the combat or world. Plus I hate the name Gransys.

Idk, no one is talking about this, probably because we're all kinda tired of hearing about stuff like this? But I figured we might as well make a threat considering it's the first juicy thing coming out of people associated with Trump. Should note as of now though, it has nothing to do with his campaign.

I feel like Catalonia fucked themselves over a bit. They were basically their own nation minus a few things, and now they're not going to get that at all.

That games seems boring
It's fantastic. Combat is some of the best shit in an RPG. Story is a bit meh, but I love the world and the combat just carries it, especially on the PC version with 60 fps. Console dropped below 24 at times which is hilariously bad.
Yeah I heard that but the world seems kind of empty. Idk I've seen gameplay and it just feels like it gets repetitive.

Really the only thing that get repetitive is the pawns talking about literally everything, but you can give them funny voices so that kinda balances it out.
You can tell your pawn to shut up too

Even in shut your mouth mode they like to talk.
Sorta yeah, but only in combat. They won't when you're just traveling.

Depends on the class you take tbh. The world has stuff in it though.

Was my fav game of 2015.

Ignore the people that whine about combat because it isn't Arkham "press two buttons to destroy waves of enemies" City. It's more than fine.

The main campaign is easily like 70 hours on the lower difficulties, excluding side quests. The Polish folklore it's based on also offers a refreshing change to the saturated Tolkien tier fantasy games right now.

Love it or hate it, but you can't deny the devs put in an inhuman amount of effort into the game.
Fuck, I was waiting for your input and it turns out I never even saw your post. lol

Yeah I don't understand the complaints about the combat. It has a nice pace to it. And yeah the world seems very interesting. A lot of atmosphere just an hour into it. Enjoying it so far.
Yeah it's a fantastic game. Dunno where this "overrated" meme came from.

It's obviously not "le best rpg ever made" but it's a modern classic, IMO. Tonnes of value to be had.
Think overrated because it received amazing praise and people here and there have said it's one of the best RPG's ever. So naturally something that's insanely popular will get the tag.

yeah what a horrible thing for them to do. actually wanting to make their product good? fuck these guys man.
Because I said that

like how everyone and their grandmother has been clamoring for.
have they? only thing I hear clamoring for is an actual story for TPP and for them to release the unfinished chapter

Quote
and with konami on board? when have they ever released a quality product in their long history of extremely successful franchises, right?
Are you like a Konami rep or something? Their PR and handling with everything MGS V related has blemished them, whether you agree with it or not. I was just stating a fact that the Konami brand is pretty negative these days.

Why don't you bend over so I can pull the stick out of your butt?

I'm pro-choice, so obviously you know where I would stand. Also, idk about Ireland, but in America even with anti-abortion laws, it's been proven that having clinics that can provide them properly are safe, because women will still have them regardless.

Idk whatever drama is here, but from a general standpoint of stealing

Whenever you steal something from someone, you're hurting them in some way shape or form. Consider yourself morally at the bottom of the barrel if you try to justify it in any way to make yourself or your actions seem not as bad.

Vikings by definition would have came as raiders or conquerors.

They raided abbeys and churches in the UK and Ireland for hundreds of years, slaughtered a shit ton of people and then took back the women, or just raped them then and there.

As a result we have Ireland's capital (Dublin, coming from the Gaelic Dubh Linn, or Blackpool because it was a swampy bog until vikings settled there), several coastal towns around Britain, and some leftover traces of Nordic genes in the population.

Benevolent they ain't, but influential on the future of both countries. The Saxons had to ward them off in the North before getting to Hastings and dealing with William (the future Conqueror of Britain).

Everyone generally sees the Romans in a positive light, but then in Britain alone they nearly eradicated the Celtic languages and culture. They made roads and Bath though, so it's all good.
Romans did a good job wiping out cultures, yeah (hello Gauls, Carthage). Think the reason we look on them in such a positive light is two things

A. Time

B. Laws of the Republic being the foundation of Western Civ laws

And also just how effective at fighting and conquering they were, thus spreading their own culture which still lasts to this day in some forms. There is a reason people circle jerk over Rome and not, say, the Mongol Empire.

You're fooling yourself if you think any big business does anything less.

Aside from Nintendo? No, nobody thinks otherwise. What's your point.

And as an outsider looking in it's clear Dice hasn't done anything with Battlefield in years. A company that """cares""" wouldn't release BF4 in the state it did. A company that cares wouldn't release Hardline at all.
Dice was rushed to make BF4 because of the release of the Xbox One and PS4 which caused issues and another studio made Hardline, not Dice

So what's the excuse for Battlefield 1?

Hardline being handled by another studio is something I didn't know.
Probably that DICE had BF4 in 2013, set everything aside to fix and support it for a year, then had Battlefront for 2015 release and thus probably didn't have much time for BF1. Plus having to develop Battlefront 2 for 2017.

That's the only reasoning I can come up with for why BF1 was so mediocre.

Also Visceral did Hardline yeah.
Nah, DICE is big enough where two teams tackle it, the smaller supporting BF4. They definitely had time with BF1, most effort I'm assuming, making sure that the launch wasn't unstable and servers crashing left and right. From reports at the time leading up to release, they REALLY wanted to make sure it was stable.

It's not a bad game, but it's nothing ground breaking either (unless you count a WW1 FPS being ground breaking). It's not overloaded with content like BF4 was (to a point there was too much), but it's not bad. It does have short comings in some areas, and others it did fine. The steps its taking is a good foundation for a reset to the franchise, and hopefully the build more off of it.

The things it really did wrong was how they handled the leveling system, taking out ribbons (which they added back in), and content taking a year to come out. Battlefield, regardless of the game, is much different a year in, then at launch. Though if we're comparing it on the very opening of its release, yeah it wasn't decked out with content.

All in all I wouldn't call it an amazing game, but it was a solid entry. Post game wise if we're stacking BF4 to 1? I think 4 easily has the edge, at least at the moment.

Which plays into my Developer thing I mentioned. They obviously ironed out the issues later because they actually had time, and it turned out great. Sadly, when a big game has a rocky release, it leaves a stain.

EA smartly gave them actual time to set up servers properly and manage the game with BF1 since they knew another shitty launch would potentially tank the franchise.

I think Dice put a lot of care into Battlefield 1, considering their mess ups with 4. It's the game that made them what they are, so I think a lot of care and research went into BF1. Documentaries show as much. I think for the new CoD, a decent amount of care went into the Single Player bit of it. Idk about MP.

You're fooling yourself if you think Dice gives a fuck about anything outside of profit margins.
You're fooling yourself if you think any big business does anything less.

I easily think Dice puts effort into their Battlefield games since its their babby. Now STARWARS? That's another issue.
