Sarcastic fuckery aside, I think it's rather siilly to assume judgement on how a person feels by one photo captured in one singular moment. If it was a video of her just walking by, sure, but even then we should be focusing on what happened rather than try to push blame on the people around the scene.
And before you guys get your libbie cards out, I think that applies with anyone. Photo's can be powerful, but they can also be very misleading. Hence why I linked the Trudeau picture.

I don't trust those reviews but I find user reviews that actually have substance are more sincere than whatever the critic shits out.

metacritic is shit, but don't act like the user score is any better than the critic score In cases like this game, no, I wouldn't either. A lot of people like to jump on a hate bandwagon simply for the sake of doing it. What would probably be a legit 7, would be dropped to a 4 or 3 because people are focusing on one subject and one subject only to hate on, and it gains traction. That's not to say it's suddenly not an issue, but we can't it here and pretend people don't like to ride those trains as well.

the gameplay department and environmental artists could definitely pass off as Bioware A team material though so it's not like this game is 100% bad
So I've heard. It just looks shitty. Which sadly, for a game that always tries to make you care for its characters and constantly zoom in on their faces, it's a big deal but oh well, the MP will probably be great.

I personally think it's an insult to the woman who's face is scanned because they're saying "You look good, but we're gonna make you look unrealistic and atrocious while we make the male over here spot on." If you ask me, it's just unintentionally singling out the female and could be attributed to a form of sexism, be it on the male or female part. Just make em both equal. It's not about slutty armor, it's about the actual scanned faces. No controversy would be around if they just did it correctly like they did with the male. Also, if you support deliberately making females ugly, that's a very twisted form of feminists you're spouting. Just an fyi, even feminists who care enough about ME are not happy with it.

For anyone curious, the French got the trailer version of Fem Ryder (sorta) that doesn't look as ass as the rest of the West. They didn't capture her face well in both instances, but one clearly doesn't look like a demon spawn.  Guys in this still seem to look fine though. Don't feel sorry for venting about it because odds are you're bottling up emotions. You've had that guy for you the majority of your life, and you probably loved him to death. You have a special bond with your dog if you show him the amount of love I suspect you did. No other animal will love you as unconditionally as a dog will.
I had to put mine down 2 years ago now, and I've had him since 2005 as a small puppy. I loved the guy to death, and went with him to hold him as he got injected. I remember the week before we took him, I just hugged him and broke down crying because I hated seeing him get so old, he had trouble even sitting down at that point. The worst part is you think the decline in health will be slow, and you'll see it coming, but nope, it all happens within a matter of months, just crashing down on you. Such is life though, and it's rough.
I'll never forget the look in his eyes when we finally put him down and gave him the mercy I knew the poor guy wanted. It still hurts thinking about it.
If you need someone to PM and talk to about it or vent, I'm more than willing to listen and all that. If not, I get it, just figured I'd extend the invitation.
Keep your chin up, and take hear in knowing you did the right thing though by putting him down. We're selfish as humans, wanting to hold on to those we love for our own reasons, even when we know it's not in their personal best interest.

It's really funny, in a way. I work with this one really old dude who likes to bring something he heard a university professor say back in the 60's when we're talking about current events up. It goes something like "In the next century America will become more accepting of Communism, and the Soviet Union will become more like the America of today."
He repeats it, laughs softly, and just shakes his head...
I'd say America is still rejecting it and Russia really doesn't like it anymore and are becoming more like the US in terms of capitalist greed.

I half joke because I highly doubt by the time 2050 hits, the status quo of what we're worrying about will be a thing. We weren't really dealing with them heavily in the 1950's, but we are in the 2000's. I think we'll see a shift as things slowly unravel over the next few decades. Islam is already going through a heavy identification crisis as it is. I wouldn't worry too much about the current theocratic type governments freaking out and taking over. Especially since we have China as the future world superpower, along with Russia and the US still being a thing. As shit as they are, they're not Mid East tier bad. Besides, 2050 is a far ways away.
