I'm enjoying it. I've spent $10 on much worse things. Wrestlemania is a tradition.

I play on PC so I wouldn't know. As for the self destruct thing, I've only used it once for an actual use and it was actually pretty useful.
Only time I can think of it playing into the fanservice is when you climb up ladders, but in terms of everything else, cut scenes included, it's nonexistent. The characters themselves are actually pretty powerful and not reliant on any kind of trope you'd suspect. 1480

Hey Verb, funny enough aside from the outfits and the players own perversions, there is no fanservice in this game at all. Like no "clever" ass shots or cleavage or anything like that. They actually treat the characters respectable.
That surprised me a bit. 1481

Finished the game with all the main endings. I have to say this is one of the best written games I've played in a long time, and some of the best music I have also heard in a game in a very long time that fits the mood with everything it throws at you.
The last ending and how you get there is also very touching and actually got a bit emotional over it. Spoiler When you're in the bullet hell and growing frustrated, you slowly start to see messages from players all around the world leaving encouraging messages, mostly with things like "don't give up" or "we'll help you!". And then after dying a certain number of times, the game offers you help from these players who did a drastic thing (in deleting all of their save data. All of it, to help out other players in end end). And when you accept it and they join in, the music goes from one single singer, to a chorus of many as you overcome the last bits. It was just a very touching thing to me to see you get annoyed at what seems impossible, and then the game pulls a Persona 3 and friends come to lend you strength. I found it most interesting because games love to show self sacrifice constantly. It's a very cool thing to see it actually implemented as a mechanic to help a total stranger at the sacrifice of the dozens of hours you've sunk into the game, to help someone you'll never met. the original Nier did something along the same lines I believe, though it was a bit more drastic since no one would remember you, and you couldn't even use that same username anymore. Overall, this is so far my game of the year, and if there is a nomination for soundtracks of the year, it easily goes to this (or Zelda probably). 1494

I enjoyed the story of TFU. I just knew it wouldn't hold up.
I read the book to it as well, which was obviously better. 1495

This game just looks so fucking shitty and glitch happy that I can't be bothered. I get Mass Effect for a good story, writing, and characters anyway. This ain't giving me that. 1499
