He's just going to oppose whatever you say for the sake of opposing it because of some complex he has about PC being shit

please don't
i mean, unless you were lying all those times when you told me you understood where i was coming from, then you know that that's not true
I understand where you cum from in a lot of cases, or at least try to.

Other times I think you play devils advocate just because why not

Anyway, it's not my place to argue. You two have at it. Let's just not derail the entire thread into one about graphics and stuff, yeah?

Challenger, please don't argue with Verb about graphics and how they're relevant to looks. It'll derail this thread horribly and you'll get nowhere.

The game features "boots on the ground" gameplay. If you didn't like the new movement stuff introduced with Advanced Warfare, this one is for you.
Now let's just see if they don't fuck it up

Call of Duty: WWII’s story is told from the point of view of Ronald “Red” Daniels, a rookie Private in the United States Army, 1st Infantry Division, also known as the “Fighting First.” Initially, he relies heavily on his superiors Pierson and Turner, who both have different ideas about how to conduct themselves in combat.

“Pierson and Turner have served together for years, so there’s a real bond between the two men,” says narrative director Scott Whitney. “At the same time, they each embody a very different worldview, with Turner embracing a man before the mission philosophy, while Pierson is all about the mission before the man. Over the course of our story we see how these two philosophies come into conflict and how Daniels, caught in the middle, learns to navigate a path for himself. “

Other characters appear including female resistance fighters, a soldier in an African-American unit (the U.S. Army was still segregated in WWII), a British officer and even a child.

Schofield won't talk about the health system yet, but auto-restoration is not happening. Reading between the lines, I gather that med-packs are the likely solution, perhaps even called for from medics, rather than just sitting around.

"You have to worry about every bullet," says Schofield. "You're not the superhero. You can't just stand there taking seven bullets, ducking, shooting again. It's refreshing for us to deal with recruits who aren't tier-one warriors, to show that vulnerability. They're naive. It's been a really cool challenge creating this different kind of gameplay."

Multiplayer also delivers a new approach to character and create-a-class through Divisions, War, an all-new narrative multiplayer mode of play, and Headquarters, a first of its kind for the Call of Duty social community, designed for players to interact and socialize with friends.

Looks good, I'm game for it.

I'd want to see what the MP is like properly before I get it mind you, I'm not getting COD for the singleplayer only but if they really have seen that people are sick of jumping space robot laser faggotry then it should be a lot of fun like the games used to be.
If the MP is anything like the last 3 games, it won't be great. I hope not.

I hope we don't get like 1000 killstreaks.

Link if the stream was shitty for you guys like it was for me...

MP will definitely be the same. It's going to use the formula MW1 established. It won't change anything. But I won't mind playing it since it's WW2. No supply drops though please.
Thanks, the trailer on stream kept lagging

It's just Americans

That's kinda shit unless they handle it perfectly (it's CoD, they won't. It'll boil down to stereotypes. Funny guy, tough sergeant, crazy guy, etc)

Let's see if the Multiplayer reveal will be the same shit it's been the last few years or something actually different

I honestly don't know why we even bother with you sometimes. What exactly were you expecting when you created this thread? Either put in the effort to discuss and defend your points or don't bother making these kinds of topics in the first place.
I mean, she did say

But what are your thoughts on this phenomenon, friends?
She wasn't taking the Verb approach where he states something and then goes "now let me tell you why you're wrong". Verb's done the same thing with his Anita Sarkenshwhateverhernameis discussions in gaming where he offers his take and people talk about it and offer their own views.

It's a discussion about the entire thing as a whole, not her defending just her point. Conversations are supposed to be a give and take, not a "let's all attack her points and not discuss our own views."

And I've only seen a handful of people actually discuss stuff with her and offer their own viewpoints without the approach of "holy fuck you're wrong lmao get out".

Hence her reply of
Quote
My initial purpose of this post was "here are my thoughts, what do you guys think?" I thought that was made ABUNDANTLY clear.

But everyone on this board is so concerned with being on top and "winning an argument" that you're all just trying to dissect every individual point and then move the goalposts when I address those points.
There is a difference between a debate and a discussion.

Looks great, sounds great, story progression/side quests are great, combat is great (despite taking time to acclimate to)

It's a great game, but not 10/10 best game of all time.
When I played number 2 the combat was kind of basic and uninteresting, is it improved in 3?
I hated the combat in 2, so I'd say so. It would be better to call combat "good" rather than "great", but it's definitely an improvement.
I agree with this. The combat feels tactical enough to where you need to be careful, but not shitty like 2's.

Chally if you can play Skyrim and that combat, you can play this.

To give you a real answer, it's insanely overrated, but it's overrated for a reason. Yeah, it's pretty great. Graphics are amazing, writing is pretty great, lore is there and introduced in a way that doesn't make you feel overburdened, combat is solid, and the world captures the whole Northern Europe setting pretty amazing.

Music is also pretty great.

If Macron wins he better do something to to empower police and not say stupid shit like "Terrorism is just a fact of life we have to live with" or there will be a legitimate Far-Right reaction in the next election.
I'm not anywhere near the right and even I myself find that remark absolutely unacceptable. You shouldn't have to fear the potential of a bomb, getting run over by some semi, or gunned down (well i'm American so that one not so much) when going to enjoy the scenes of your nation.

For the love of god, please let my French neighbors have the same sense as the Dutch and vote against the shit that is Le Pen.
If she wins, it's gonna give other insanely right nationalistic (nazi) parties some more power to rise with.
You say that like it's a bad thing.
Yeah, because when have nazi tier parties done anything wrong?
I dunno, you tell me. All I can think of is an ill supported Africa campaign that was indirectly responsible for a collapse of the Ostfront.
You're too woke for me to handle
