13-2 and Lightning Returns just killed anything remotely interesting about her, mainly because she becomes some immortal... being or whatever that doesn't even have anything relatable to, which is what makes for a good character.

New FF hasn't grabbed me. Hopefully 15 turns out better, but the cast so far is a sausage fest. And I agree with both of these. 12 never really grabbed me when I was younger, but I'm much more into FF now having played the older ones, and yeah, 15 does look guy heavy.

LC brought anime up.
I was just talking about how Naoto looks like a boy, because she does. In fact, I thought she WAS a boy. It seems to be a recurring theme with SMT/Persona characters--all the boys look really feminine, and all the girls look like feminine boys. Every single time I see a character from the franchise, they aren't the gender that initially assume they are. It fucks with my brain.
Nothing about that is remotely similar to "I hate anime." Which I do, but that's not what I was talking about.
The discussion of Naoto's androgyny is on-topic.

I tried it and liked it enough to buy the season pass. The concept seems great and I enjoyed it, though the forced lingo at some parts and Max saying "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was the best movie ever" was rather cringy.

COD 2 and WaW are the best COD games.
WaW was, in my opinion, the best send off to the World War 2 game genre. They captured everything about WW2 perfectly in that game. The brutality of the Russians, how far the Japanese would go, how dark it was (the main menu especially), and many other things as well. The ending scene to the game still gives me chills.
