The economy tanking does show. A lot of the rooms in those photos looks like its from a very low income house. They look like something from the Soviet Union era.
Housing in Russia has always been terrible. Sanctions didn't make those houses look like that. Russia's just fucking ugly.
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE I've talked to who's lived/visited in Russia, says the same 3 things. 1. Police are corrupt as heck 2. There are an abnormally high amount of stray dogs 3. St. Petersberg is the only city that's ever worth visiting

I think I've come to a conclusion with this group that some (I don't wanna say quite a few) people have so far out opinions on things, that they think they are enlightened or smarter than the average bear because they don't think the way everyone else does. They think they "see it for what it really is" and believe in this false notion that they're highly intelligent and enlightened. When in actuality they're just edgy cunts sitting on the computer typing their opinion, because sadly the internet gives every igit a voice. Secular governments have proven over human history in the more modern age to be far more tolerant and successful than non secular ones. Same with religion in school. It doesn't have to be there. Go to church and get over it or go to Catholic school. I hate the Roman Catholic Church anyway for way too many reasons.
