I watched the Superb owl once
so boringggg
how do you stand the constant ad breaks and breaks in the action
for a lot of people, the ads are supposed to be the best part
lol
Maybe it has something to do with the fact we didn't even get the Superbowl ads, but here I'm pretty used to having no ads at all during major sports games
It's only the Superb owl with the good ads, but the rest of the season is just beer, and cars.

The more I watch soccer, the more I ask myself the same thing.

Tau used to be so good that fans were like "hey these guys don't... fit this universe of shitty people" so GW said "okay fine fine we'll fix it."
And now the Tau are "rumored" to basically mind control people who assimilate into their empire and it's run by a select few.

Still has my vote.
This. It's sad when you have to choose between the lesser of two evils, though.
If only Rand Paul was for nationalized health care, he'd have my vote.

Alright, guys, no gays, bisexuals, or pansexuals in the military. They'd wanna fuck all the other guys.
It's worth bringing up that "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" used to be a thing until it was just recently ended by Obama.
As it should have been. Gay rights progressed insanely fast in this country. 90's it was unthinkable to even say you were gay. Shit even early 2000's most people were opposed to gay marriage.

Amazing how they're incapable of just showing support for the group, they have to skew it in a lame attempt to attack "the left".
So fucking stupid.
It's Fox News. Nothing they say in the political field should ever be taken serious.

We're all millennials (for the most part) just some millennials aren't well informed

If anything, the only ones really connected are 2 and 4
Ivalice Alliance master race.
They said those Ivalice worlds aren't connected. I thought they were too but the technology and everything is completely different.
It was at different time periods was my understanding. They have to be connected if they're all set in the same place.
Coulda swore just recently reading they said they're only connected in name and only name. But you're probably right, I'll look it up again soon.

]Believe what you want, but it's been explicitly stated out-of-game that 7 and 10 take place in the same universe.
The whole multiverse thing is more of a highly probable theory, though, I'll give you that.
Has it really? Link me to something on that? I'm not doubting you, just curious.
The Ultimanias haven't been fully translated, so I can't really link you to them. Here's the summary, though:
In Final Fantasy X-2, a member of the Gullwings named "Shinra" proposes the concept of extracting the life energy from within the planet Spira. In the Final Fantasy X-2 Ultimania guidebook published by Square Enix, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X-2 scenario writer Kazushige Nojima stated that the character Shinra and his proposal are a deliberate nod to the Shinra Company of Final Fantasy VII, and also revealed that he envisioned the events of Final Fantasy X-2 as a prequel to those in Final Fantasy VII. This connection had previously been hinted toward by Kitase and lead Final Fantasy developer Yoshinori Kitase during an interview in the Final Fantasy X Ultimania Omega guidebook, and was again detailed in the Final Fantasy VII Ultimania Omega — two other official publications of Square Enix.
Huh well how about that. So basically Spira is ancient world.

All FF's not in the same universe?
Tin foil hats on and join the 'theyre all in the same universe' club.
Not that i believe it myself and it would be a mess, but the recurring crystals and LR's ending would sort of support that theory
They're all in the same multiverse, and some games are in the same universe, on different planets (such as FFVII and FFX).
That's just a lot of fan speculation. If anything it's just reoccuring themes for them. I highly doubt they're connected at all. The only theory for 7 and 10 was because one NPC in 10. If anything, the only ones really connected are 2 and 4 since you see Kain as a kid, his father is a dragoon, and he says when he grows up he wants to be. That and a place called Missidia is in both.

343 is bad because they barely touched anything in Halo 4. Umm, yes they did. Quite a bit, actually.
Not really they outsourced a lot

343are bad because they were fored by Microsoft to rush out a rediculously huge port on a completely unfesable timefraame?
343 is bad because they barely touched anything in Halo 4. MCC is just icing on the cake for both MS and 343.

Probably the only good thing 343 has done so far. Bungie and 343 are both shitty developers at this point. Bungie does Destiny, and 343 outsources everything worse than NAFTA.

I always thought the Queen/Locust were from those labs but they never followed it up after GoW 2, which more than annoyed me. They also changed the queen from looking like a Locust, to just a human in some costume...

I'll only post the ones I have real opinions about Vietnam War: Spoiler Going there was justified, but how the US handled a lot of it was a crime. Many civvies dying, not being able to actually attack and had to just defend, etc. A real crime was not getting those vets help. Iraq War: Spoiler I think it stopped a tyrant which was good, but how we handled the nation building was pretty shitty. European Union: Spoiler Don't mind them really. After so many centuries of fighting, it's amazing they came together. Whatever united front opposes Putin. Drug legalisation: Spoiler I don't think you should legalize EVERYTHING, but the fact things like weed is so heavily punishable is silly. Bank regulation: Spoiler I agree with everything Meta said.

Vietnam War: Justified if it meant stopping the spread of Communism, which it did, despite the death toll.
Did it? They still fell to communism and I think the domino effect was a huge paranoia thing.

As a traitor or someone who did the right thing?
Undoubtedly a traitor.
Releasing information about the collection of metadata I can get behind; but releasing over a million documents, most of which he didn't read and some of which fell into the enemy's hands, as well as talking about cyberwarfare with China and taking refuge in Russia all make him a traitor in my book.
Yeah fair enough.

It just feels like government spying for the sake of spying.
It's a stretch to call it spying; whitepages.com has more personal information on you, which universal access no less, than the NSA does.
Eh, fair point. I understand where you're coming from, I just... I dunno, I don't exactly think it's morally right.
I can't say I blame you particularly, even if we disagree. The nature and suddenness of Snowden's leaks caused a lot of sociocultural upheaval.
Yeah it did. Speaking of which, how do you view him? As a traitor or someone who did the right thing?

I'm kinda using only that point because that's the NSA's excuse for collecting the data. I don't care what the NSA is saying, I care about the actual consequences of the programme--which, again, is almost universally regarded as valuable, even if it's never been the nail in the coffin it was promised to be.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that. I'm not a fan of them just gathering a fuck load of intel for no reason. If they can't do what they originally said was the purpose of it all, then I disagree with it. It just feels like government spying for the sake of spying.

Only problem is that I also am strongly in favor for nationalized health care.
Take it from a Brit--you don't want that.
Go down the Canadian, German, French or even Singaporean route.
I'm just saying that it's better than having to go into surgery and then being bankrupt. Let's say your appendix is about to burst, and you have to go in. You can't help that, it just happens sometimes. That will bankrupt you over here, or cost you a shit ton of money. Our excuse for that kind of healthcare is "the doctors don't feel as inspired to try harder". It's a very pathetic excuse.
