Whenever I see your name I think of Lucina from Fire Emblem.
I'd smile but I never have the time or patience to try that series.

I keep seeing the flag on the back of pickup trucks now when going to and from work (live in Virginia), so I just laugh at how well they fit the stereotype.

Also for the record, stores refusing to sell it and all that is retarded. Take it off of government buildings, sure. But uhh, yeah. Free speech and freedom of expression is a two way street. Something more and more people are seeming to forget.
So stores can't make their own business choices now?
They can do whatever they want, but we shouldn't bash stores that do sell them.

All this Confederate flag controversy is so stupid. It takes you this long to suddenly be offended? Okay then.
The Confederate flag nonsense has been an issue since the Civil War. It only now has been boiling over because of current events combined with the fact that it isn't 1863 anymore.
No, it definitely hasn't been a thing here. Kids flew the stars and bars on their pickup trucks going to school senior year. Maybe in Comradefornia it's an issue, but y'all can just keep your whole being offended at everything shtick to y'allselves.
the fact that you guys aren't bothered by flying a flag that represents racism, violence, and hatred speaks more about the south than anything else. there's a reason you guys are terrible at everything. maybe there's something in the water down there.
I personally don't fly them, but the Confederate flag is pretty much accepted around here. Doesn't matter anyways, they lost.
The south WILL rise again.

Stephens was basically the Goebbels of the south. Davis was an American hero who loved the anti-federalist values of Patrick Henry, Sam Adams, and James Monroe and valued liberty and free thought.
Doesn't take away from the fact he was one seat below the most powerful one. I can respect generals and leaders on either side though. I'm not talking really about the leaders. Stonewall Jackson, Lee, Davis, etc? Those guys are kick ass and patriots. They deserve the statue's they got.

At least my state has water lol
So how comes black people can rebrand nigger as a term of endearment but we can't use a symbol of state's rights and the will for a less powerful federal government as a symbol for... well, a want of a less powerful central government? You know slavery and systematic oppression of blacks aren't even mentioned in the constitution of the Confederate States.
Just a few things home slice Blacks rebranded nigger because the white slave owners used it to oppress them. The origins shouldn't be compared at all. And uhh The new Constitution has put at rest forever all the agitating questions relating to our peculiar institutions—African slavery as it exists among us—the proper status of the negro in our form of civilization. This was the immediate cause of the late rupture and present revolution. Jefferson, in his forecast, had anticipated this, as the "rock upon which the old Union would split." He was right. What was conjecture with him, is now a realized fact. But whether he fully comprehended the great truth upon which that rock stood and stands, may be doubted. The prevailing ideas entertained by him and most of the leading statesmen at the time of the formation of the old Constitution were, that the enslavement of the African was in violation of the laws of nature; that it was wrong in principle, socially, morally and politically.
It was an evil they knew not well how to deal with; but the general opinion of the men of that day was, that, somehow or other, in the order of Providence, the institution would be evanescent and pass away... Those ideas, however, were fundamentally wrong. They rested upon the assumption of the equality of races. This was an error. It was a sandy foundation, and the idea of a Government built upon it—when the "storm came and the wind blew, it fell."
Our new Government is founded upon exactly the opposite ideas; its foundations are laid, its cornerstone rests, upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery, subordination to the superior race, is his natural and normal condition.
- Vice President of the Confederacy So not only is the very foundation wrong, but they go against what the founding fathers constitution, which so many red necks and southerns defend so adamantly. They go on about "knowing history", but the irony is that those who say that don't even understand the "history" they are trying to defend. The south can have plenty more to be proud about than a stupid flag.

Humans are reactive by nature.
The whole "anti confederate flag" thing will die down after it's taken off government buildings and shit.

We make the best trucks. We have the best military.
And kicked the British's asses in World War 2.
We also gave the world the English language.

The story is fan fiction tier, follow the advice offered by the name of the poster above me.
Not everything has to be historically accurate. Sometimes entertainment can be made to entertain.

What progress have you made on becoming a voice actress? It's a field I'm also interested in (not participating in, just learning about).
A few machinima's here or there. Nothing insanely high yet.
If you don't mind, I'd like to see your work.
Voice acting is an underrated art, in my opinion.
Eh, doubt they're even up anymore.

It was actually not that bad. I dunno why I made a thread about it, but yeah. I pirated it, so no money wasted.
Combat was obviously repetitive, and there isn't much replay value, but the production of the game was incredible. And honestly, I think the game has THE best voice acting I've ever heard, and as an aspiring voice actress, I really pay attention to that kind of crap.
Anyway, I felt the cutscenes themselves were good enough to make a movie out of it, and sure enough there is one that's about an hour and 30 mins long on YouTube. Obviously it's not historically accurate, but more of a game to entertain. Still, the ending revelation did a SAW thing where you go "ohhhhhh that makes sense now", so that was fun.

S-so YEAH!

I'm more interested to see how the 1000 Republicans running will handle this.
Seriously, it's a joke at this point. WAY too many people running for who we all know will win.
Christie basically said, I disagree with their decision, but I took an oath to uphold U.S. Law.
I believe it's A really good take
It is, but not all of em are like that. Like Mike Hukashit just freaked over it.
