Well no shit, I mean it did nail the core mechanics to a tee, and that was always the one strength the game had amongst the shitty storytelling and mission structure it initially shipped with. They're not going to fundamentally change gameplay, nor are they going to make a new engine and revamp the look of it (personally I love the aesthetic. It's classy Bungie and something that makes me happy after 343 fucked up Halo's look).
It might be because of the gameplay features itself not being able to justify $60, but so far I've not really seen it lacking in that regard as well. Most I've heard is complained about is the suspected only 1 raid, which IS a bit of a letdown. I personally think it should have been 2 or 3.
For a game people like to say it's an MMO (it's not, but whatever), they should look to see exactly how MMO's work in the regards of their complaints.

So i started leatherworking and fell in love. I imagine itll get grindy later down the line but ill love it for now. Everything feels so involved unlike the mundane nature of WoW type MMO's.
Classes seem to have personality to them, Lancer at least feels like its own thing, i cant really explain it
Crafting does get grindy later on, but so does every class that isn't your first, really.

They moved the NA servers to FUCKING SACRAMENTO?!
Why in the ever living fuck would they not move them to Dallas or Chicago?! Literally smack dab in the middle of NA?! No, they sent them to fucking Commiefornia and now everyone on the east coast can go fuck themselves if their latency was already mediocre before the server transfer. There is literally no good reason to have it on the west coast when having it in either Chicago or Dallas would have benefited everybody.
EDIT: YYUUPP, my connection is somewhat-decent but not as good as it once was (Condition in-game says Good instead of Excellent), I can immediately tell there's slight delays in interacting with characters. Guess I'm not raiding in Stormblood either.
Odds are it was the most cost effective thing for them to do. My connection is thankfully still on excellent, but my friends in England who I've played with for 2 years now might have to transfer because they're getting 200 tier ping and not being able to do as much DPS and be as effective. But the issue is I have other friends in the States in my FC as well, so I'd be torn if they transfer and I have to make a decision. I hope they go to Texas, but I think this decision was final.

I based my Hyur off the girl in the chocobo outfit in the square because I liked how she looked  That being said, yeah I think she's great looking, but at the same time I think I actually made an elf that's not ugly either, because that is VERY hard to do. Dude same thing happened to me, really. I just got these https://shop.turtlebeach.com/us/stealth-500pFor $76 refurbished at Gamestop and I love it. Wireless, virtual surround sound, multiple settings, etc. A huge step up from just the stereo x12's I used to have. I'm sure your Gamestop might have em too if you wanna look. I was going to get a pair of $100 that did the exact same thing, only a lot more of an asking price. Most important, they're comfortable around my ears for long periods of time.
