I don't think you understand what the definition of fascism is you moron
stop taking the bait
I consider it only taking the bait if I get into an actual conversation, not some off handed comment.

But I guess ignoring is also an option  :o

We all care about environment but this is not the answer. Fuck the globalists.
fucking globalists sitting there doing science promoting human rights and trying to make the world a less polluted and more liveable place fuck them I hate the EU now pieces of SHIT!!
It's all about jobs though and we all know America is the center of the Earth, even though it's not that accord that's fucking with jobs

/science

Serious comment though, I do hate how this only heightens the stereotype that Americans have no sense of what happens to the world outside of their borders and are horribly ignorant.

Still, it's nice to see the rest of the world continuing to laugh at us. About time.
Yep. Europe is moving away from the US and moving towards China, who are taking their first big steps as the next superpower.
Quite the jump to conclusions no? I think if anything this'll strengthen the idea of a more centralised, independent EU. Europe will never be to China like it has been to the US and that's simply because of lack in cultural similarities and history to bridge the gaps between the two countries.
Not really. I more so meant on trade deals on what not. The EU has already gone to China to work with the climate agreement, and China is saying they will do their best on this agreement, and promising to stay firm with it. China is the next strongest power to the US, so this will be them finally taking a leadership role on an international stage, something they've been hesitant to do.

As for the EU, yeah I want to see them get stronger, more united, and not rely on just the US. The US has proven to be shaky, and the EU promotes Western Civilization values, so that's always a plus. But no, in terms of that trade stuff, that new Chinese silk road has nothing to do with the US, and if the US continues to antagonize Europe, it'll further push them off from new deals. The EU has already declared they won't discuss shit with the US government in terms of the agreement, and will go directly to companies and businesses.

But apparently people are ready to go for it to stop the climate change as evidenced by this thread.
You're saying this like the Paris Agreement is forcing countries to do something, which it's not. The fact it allows countries to set their own goals and then they periodically check every 5 years to see if they're continuing such efforts, doesn't mean an invasion is set if they don't do so.

You make it seem like it's some strict code nations must abide by, but it's factually not. That's how Russia, China, and the EU are even so much as agreeing on anything.

Elaborate on the double edge sword?
States rights can make them either do really retarded stuff or things that are actually good.

30 states and numerous companies have publically announced that they will comply with the Paris Accords standards, despite Trump's moronic actions. Washington, New York and California (1/5 of the US economy from those three) announced they will form a coalition to meet the goals

How un-American!

10th amendment, you liberal hack!
I do find it funny how most states and big companies just go

"Okay but... we're gonna do it anyway, so fuck off."

But muh state rights :<. That's a double edged sword if I've ever seen one. Even Walmart is for it, and I think they supported Trump during his campaign.

WTF why doesn't american want billions of tax payer dollars to be funnelled to poor countries and lower the global temperature by 0.05% by the year 2100 ???
It drives me crazy how people talk about climate only in terms of politics/economy etc. It’s about the habitability/safety of the Earth. But if we must...

You do realize every nation can set its own goals, right? It's why you have nations like China and Russia agreeing to such a thing. Though it seems Flee has a better understanding of that bit than I do.

Let that sink in. EU going to China to make deals instead of the United States. That's not good for the United States, because believe it or not that trade helps with jobs over here. The EU's trade with China, Japan, India, Australia, South Korea and Southeast Asia already exceeds its trade with the United States by about $300 billion per year -- and this has occurred before Europe grants China "market economy" status or signs free trade agreements with Japan, India and others. Imagine what happens then.

This is ALSO not taking into account China's new "silk road", which will increase trade between Europe and Asia and keep the US out as it further isolates itself. Europeans were an active presence at Beijing's One Belt, One Road summit. The Belt and Road Initiative is the largest coordinated infrastructure investment program in human history, and could easily generate $2 trillion per year in trade between Europe and Asia.

Meanwhile if we're also taking Iran into account, Europe has universally agreed that a more Western engaged Iran is a good thing. With Rouhani's very solid re-election, it only solidifies that Iranian's want to open up west more. This while having the US do its typical beating of a drum saying Iran is the most evil nation in the world and may impose sanctions on it. Sanctions Europe won't back and possibly continue making business deals with them.

What I'm getting at, is that it is ironic Trump said we're going to make America great again, when in fact he's seeming to do everything in his power to have China step up as the next big leader, while making Europe start to feel as though they need to take the mantel as the center of the world again and be the swing that tips Asian and American powers through trade. That much has been proven with Europe's two strongest nations, Germany and France, unite in even more Franco-Germanic agreements and cooperation and try and lead, because America is seeming to do everything in its power not to.

Truly the Franks were the right ones when resettling from the ashes of Rome. When one great superpower falls, them Franks will always seem to be around to capitalize on it.

Ripping a bit from Zakaria here, but

People also seem to forget that this agreement does not dilute American sovereignty. They allow every country to make its own plans. That's why countries that have jealously guarded their sovereignty, like China, India, and Russia, have all signed on.

Let's also take into account where jobs are actually happening.

http://fortune.com/2017/02/07/us-solar-jobs-2016/

Solar jobs in America have more people employed than coal, oil, and natural gas combined. Coal jobs did not leave the US because the government forced them to shut down or due to some plans. They shut down on their own because it's become a more cost efficient method. Anyone who thinks coal jobs are coming back, which has fallen rapidly over the last decade alone, are stuck in old ways of thinking. The same with factory jobs. Technology is the issue here, and it's the economy that hasn't caught up.

It's also a future that you're only trying to delay the inevitable with. Fight all you want, but much like the factory workers of old, you're gonna find yourself without a job if you don't adapt.

I do the six month automatic renewal. Mainly because I know I'll be playing enough to justify buying six months at once and it saves me more money yearly.

It's monthly yeah. It's easier to just buy time cards, so like 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc. I don't know anyone who does the monthly renewal automatically.
Oh nice. If you were on Famfrit I'd play with you.

but never answer "playing video games" as your first hobby. Make it sound like something that reflects some productivity at first glance, like uhh... sports or some normie shit.

Funny because if you look at my later posts you will see that I never pulled the muh heritage statement. I actually believe that they should stay because people need to have their face rubbed in it. A reminder that we came from assholes and we better be on guard to make sure it doesn't happen again. Statues like that should inspire shame, not pride.
I was referring to people in general in regards to the southern heritage thing, not you. I actually wasn't thinking of you at all when posting that.

I'm not THAT passive aggressive.

Also, statues are like the antithesis of face rubbing and shame.

If you think it should be collected and put in a museum where a government can control the context in which it's shown, then that's your downfall.

Funny, since that's already been the case...since it's government-owned public property and they're choosing to change the context by removing the thing.

This is no different, and should be put in a different context. One that's preferably not on a pedestal.
But muh heritage

The aggressive North was at fault for it all. It was about states rights.

What else...

uh...

lynch niggers! Or something.

Depends where the stress is coming from

Stress from work: I use it to do even BETTER work.

Emotional stress: Long Drives and Reading in some foreign place such as a bookstore or a random park

Most people find the gym a good stress reliever, and while it definitely can be sometimes, I've noticed that I'm so into the gym it's more of a necessity/job for me now and that being stressed can sometimes fuck up my workouts.
I never considered reading in a foreign place. I'll have to try that with a light novel I've been meaning to read anyway.
