So I hear a judge said that MP's had a say in the vote or something? Or that the people who voted no got a victory because of this ruling? Can someone please explain wtf Britain is doing?

Saw this via an ad, and it's fantastic. Pretty funny, and the Man vs Wild approach is great.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/27/europe/nato-russia-troops/index.htmlPoland's paramilitary defense has grown rapidly, with more than 35,000 people signing up and undergoing military training. They range from high school students to lawyers and doctors. This is good news. Glad to see Europe isn't simply rolling over.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/21/politics/russia-us-election-monitors/index.htmlThree states have said "nyet" to a Russian request to send its diplomats to monitor polling stations on Election Day, according to letters from state officials provided to CNN.
Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana turned down the request from the Russian consulate in Houston. Louisiana Secretary of State Tom Schedler wrote that recent flooding had left his office extremely short-staffed trying to deal with the damage and prepare adequately for the vote on November 8. "Had this flood event not occurred, we certainly would have been open to such a visit," he told Consul General Alexander Zakharov. Both Oklahoma and Texas denied the Russian proposal citing state laws that prohibit it. You'd think they'd ask the blue states and not deep red ones. Russia is really playing a strange game and they really need to fuck off. Them of ALL nations can't lecture people on fair elections, regardless of how they want to disguise their motives. Makes sense though they'd ask people they know will say no, and then turn around and go "Look their elections are rigged!"

So to make matters even more awkward, Trump and Clinton will be seated one seat apart at the Al Smith dinner tonight. For those who don't know, the dinner is mainly to set aside political differences for one night for both sides of the parties, and come together for a dinner amidst a heated campaign. In 2012, Romney and Obama more or less complimented each others hard work and families, Mitt saying he doesn't dislike Obama, and both agreeing family is always more important than politics.
So we'll see how awkward that is, given they didn't shake hands last night.

Maybe I can more cuz American and "muh freedom" or something, but this is fucking stupid.

Why the FUCK is this Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt breakup such big fucking news? I'm hearing Goodmorning America ACTUALLY talking about this like it's news. I am so sick of hearing about it. CNN had it as "BREAKING NEWS" yesterday, like Russia and the US went to war.
The host on TV: "You know you dont know someone but when you hear a breakup like this you FEEL it"
Fuck you, you're the reason our media is so fucking bad

http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/07/politics/iran-cash-payments-congress-hearing/index.htmlThe Obama administration made two additional cash payments totaling $1.3 billion, after delivering $400 million to Iran by plane in January, to resolve a failed arms deal, administration officials told lawmakers Tuesday.
That cash payment was made in January on the same day Iran released four American prisoners and formally implemented the nuclear deal. The money was flown in a plane to Iran on wooden pallets stacked with various currencies to resolve a dispute between the two countries stemming from a failed arms deal made before the Islamic Revolution in 1979 that toppled the Shah.
When the nuclear deal was implemented in January, the Obama administration announced that it agreed to pay $1.7 billion to settle the decades old dispute, although officials didn't say when or how the payments were made until now. Chalk it up as another failure for the Obama foreign policy

There was no thread on it so why not
I've been tuning in and out, and I mentioned this before. I just find it so trippy how quickly both countries flipped on America being great/being shit, along with the military support. This whole "America is the greatest country and we love our military" has been a Republican thing for as long as I remember.
Now it's "our country is shit and it needs fixing, and our Military is pretty under-prepared". Nothing wrong with that way of thinking obviously. I just find it so crazy how both parties flipped that paradigm so quickly.
Just seeing a mother who's son died in Afghanistan, so it really just made me want to make the thread since it's so in your face. I honestly find the whole thing with both the parties fascinating.

Now I know what you're saying about the 2DS and how it's bad. I did my research, I know what I'm doing. Basically, with the new job coming up, I'm gonna be saving money anyway for the holiday season to get a 3DS XL, which I would then just give my 2DS to my brother. Talked to the guys at gamestop and I know I'm getting the games I want for it that wouldn't restrict it (Zelda, Pokemon, Fire Emblem).
I just never use my PS4 for... anything anymore really. The only thing I'm remotely interested in is Nier, and FF 15 is just a massive "meh" for me. Just waiting for the PS4 to format before I go turn it in (I'm getting $200 in credit value for it).
I know for a fact I'd get more playtime out of my 3DS (2DS), and the games I want from it. Just thought I'd uhh... share!

Skyward Sword didn't work out so well emulated, so this is now just the Zelda thread in general. Talk about whatever Zelda related, like the new upcoming one.

I'm sure we've all heard about it and all that, but it seems pretty shocking the 3 holy cities are bombed, showing that it's not really a safe place.
People said ISIS are the real kinda muslims, right? If that was the case, bombing holy cities is a no no.
But I wanted your thoughts on this, since we never heard much reaction around from it, yet when it's the west it's the same things we always hear.
