No links yet but I saw it live. The briefing guy Shaun Spencer immediately came out and started attacking the media about the coverage of the inauguration, saying that the tarp laid out made and security checks made the inauguration crowd LOOK smaller, but in actuality it was the biggest attendance of one ever. Even bigger than 2009's Obama's. I wonder how the next 4 years will be with him saying reporting is all lies and he's all right.
And also the MLK bust being moved. That was false reporting, which is actually true. It's still in the White House. Guy that tweeted it quickly apologized but looked like an idiot no less.

I don't normally watch this guys videos, and I'm sure people don't here too, but stay with me. It's a lot better than reading a bunch of articles on the same thing. What the hell am I supposed to do when the party I lean towards ends up fucking people over again and again, but the other party is just as untouchable in my eyes, yet the system is rigged so 3rd parties can't do shit? Vote for progressives in that party, as the trend is clearly showing is the favorable thing? I dunno. Either way this is so god damn depressing. Well, I know who I'm raising awareness NOT to vote for in 2020. He'll probably champion himself as Obama 2.0 and play the black race vote card too.

Tillerson being the former ExxonMobil CEO who was basically in bed with Russia. The guy who, during the hearings, would refuse to say denounce Putin with Marco Rubio pushing him on it. BUT In a weird twist of things, Tillerson may be denied Secretary of State because some Republicans don't want to vote for him because of his cozying up to Russia, which is normal for the normal branch of the Republican Party. However it could be Democrats who save him and put him in because quite a few are still open to voting for him. So what I'm seeing is that Democrats are once again showing how much they're little bitches when it comes to military strength. But that shouldn't surprise anyone who's known the history of these two parties. http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/12/politics/marco-rubio-donald-trump/index.htmlhere's a video for a smol summary on it. Ignore the article.

As the Ostrogoths who are just "not" Rome, but try their very best. That's a pretty good feel.

How about that championship? That was a great cumback and win by Clemson. Glad Alabama didn't win, ya know, another one like the Patriots or something.
Suck it, Nick Saban. You were shit in the NFL.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/04/politics/free-weed-inauguration-day-washington-dc-donald-trump/So a question regarding the law in general. Since it's passed already in the states, and Jeff Sessions in your granddaddy when it comes to weed ("good people don't smoke weed" he said), can the Federal government actually remove these laws, or is that overreach? I would assume the Supreme Court would get in and say a word if they tried.

https://www.blackdesertonline.com/shop/GamePass.htmlIf anyone is interested (and you can run it), here you go. No subscription, so pay once, you're good. Thought people should know in case it ever really interested them. The character creator is the most detailed I've ever seen, so there is that.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/530620/If anyone is curious, the final demo is out, and for PC now. I wasn't really feeling this game until I got more info about the puzzles and locked doors being more like the original RE style, so yeah.

Never did this before, but I will now. So hush. http://store.steampowered.com/app/447530/The game is VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action. Short version: It's a more relaxed version of Papers Please, VN stule Long Version: I was a bit hesitant to play it at first, mainly because Papers Please wasn't my thing. However this game is rather different. Before we start, I will say this IS a visual novel, with the bartender stuff sprinkled on top, however without all the highschool Japanese zing that comes with it, which I'm sure we all are thankful for. That may turn a lot of people off. However it isn't the You play as a bartender who serves drinks for her customers, and I thought it was gonna be some frenzy game. Turns out it's not, and it's far more relaxed. The game even recommends you get a drink, a snack, and kick back and relax. It has the anime art style to it, but the thing that REALLY got me into it was 2 things. The style it reminded me of, and the dialogue of the characters In terms of the art style, it has that 80's retro future feel to it. Instantly it reminded me of some vague Super Nintendo sci fi title, before I finally got a good feel of what it seemed to be inspired from If anyone is a fan of Kojima, you've heard of Snatcher. Not at all related to the game, it just reminded me of the general feel and the art style, and the soundtrack really helped play into that feel. It's relaxing, enjoyable, and helps you get immersed in the world they're throwing at you. I think what I enjoy the most is you can choose to give the customers the drinks they want, or you can get them completely shit faced and see the results. In turn, the story branches out into many different paths (routes, though romance isn't the main aspect of this I feel), offering much replayability. In terms of dialogue, I half expected some anime tier kinda stuff, but it's honestly actually pretty down to earth. The characters actually talk like real people, and the humor is actually done well. Again though, the main thing that really turned me onto this was the soundtrack, and how relaxing everything was. Sometimes I just need to play something where I can sit back, get away from my crappy real life issues and drama, and just enjoy something that isn't stressful, and which you don't rage quit in (looking at you, Dark Souls, Rocket League). Anyway, you can check probably better reviews on the Steam page, and the game is 6 months old now, so late here. I'm only a few hours in but really have enjoyed it so far, and anything that's voted overwhelmingly positive, both overall and recent on steam, is at least taking a gander at. There are enough shitty generic games out there that we grow tired of. I just felt I should type this though if anyone wants to try something a bit out of the norm of what they do, and if they've not checked it out yet. I'll leave you with a song I enjoyed from the game. Edit: If you don't play with scanlines on, you're doing it wrong. Makes it feel more retro and VHS like.

I just want to say that I think the bonfire placement of Dark Souls 3 is just as shitty as Dark Souls 2. I could probably make a longer post about why I don't like Dark Souls 3 as much, such as relying on Dark Souls 1 armor sets too much, or pushing almost all of Dark Souls 2 stuff aside, the good and the bad, along with various other things. But yeah, I know it's not finished yet, but I feel this game has gotten a lot less flak for it because Miyazaki is doing it, and he "can do no wrong", when really I think that's not really the case. It's a good thing he's taking a break from these games. If you also have the time, watch an hour long video about it. Keep in mind what I posed is what I felt before even watching this. I still actually haven't finished it. Only like 20 mins in. Edit: Here's my post from another thread Spoiler I don't. I've been keeping my mouth shut mostly since I'd be too lazy to get into the discussion again, but I think Dark Souls 2 was more a proper sequel than Dark Souls 3 since I personally feel Souls 3 was almost always just taking from the glory days of Dark Souls 1, without taking bold and new directions like 2 did.
I'm not saying 2 was the better game (though I think the PvP experience in DS2 is the best in the series), because it had its fair share of issues (ADAPTABILITY AS A SKILL WHYYYY), but it felt like the devs actually tried to take a risk or two. Dark Souls 3 felt like almost all the armor was from Dark Souls 1, or they were flashing things from DS1 in your face going "hey guys remember this? Member???"
I felt the same way with Pokemon X/Y, though not to as massive of a degree. They things they shoved in your face in X/Y from gen 1 was terrible.
Edit: And for what its worth, ignoring the first DLC of DS2, I felt they learned from their mistakes and took the criticism to heart and made two great DLC's that helped the overall product. Now we compare yet for DS3 yet since all the DLC isn't out yet, and there will be more patches along the way, but yeah.

Can we have an option to check all the boxes and "mark all as read"? I had to go through around 28 pages of it and it's just a tedious mess. I know I'd probably be told to keep on top of it, but it can sometimes get away from me, much like my email can, and that has the "select everything" option.
Any chance we can implement that?

So I was bored and did some wiki reading again, and remembered the whole thing with Morsi (the Muslim Brotherhood president). The main reason he got ousted was because he tried to suspend the constitution and give himself unlimited powers. Naturally, people got pissed, and the military gave him 48 hours to fix things or he be ousted. Naturally, as we all know, he was ousted. Now I've thrown parallels to Morsi with Erdogan from Turkey. Both seem to have tried to do dictator like things (one succeeded), as well as promote more and more religion in the government (Egypt is far less secular, I know). Unsurprisingly, relations have worsened after he was ousted. But I digress. It seems the new president, el_Sisi (who is far from perfect, I know) has really tried to push secularism in Egypt, going as far as calling for moderation on Islam, and removing religious text from textbooks, since they apparently glorified violence. He even went as far as wishing Christians a Merry Christmas, unheard of for an Egyptian leader. So basically my question is, do you think Egypt is taking the same path Turkey did when the Republic first formed, where secularism is going to be taking a more prominent role? And secondly, do you approve of such things, and think that, despite a coup, Egypt could be a valuable ally to the United States? I felt we could use a different discussion other than the election results.

Give this video a watch, it's actually pretty uplifting, regardless of what side you're on. One thing I liked the most, is that now we can all finally move on with our lives again, after having this dominate it for almost a year and a half. So chin up. The sun will still rise, and your sports team will still always suck. Take a breath and treat yourself to something relaxing.
