I really don't care what labels people slap onto this sort of thing. Do what you want, it's none of my business.

ITT: Post obscure German experimental aircraft made during the end of WWII when they realized they were gonna lose and literally had to make planes out of wood.
Why is there a dildo on that plane
Boosted pilot morale.

Turn Blue is such a good album, it's nuts.

The Flood / Re: Accents You Find Appealing?
« on: October 31, 2016, 09:07:02 AM »
As long as the accent isn't extremely thick, I have a hard time thinking of accents I don't find attractive than ones I do find attractive. That little bit of ethnicity just makes them slightly more appealing, like there's a lot to learn from them just because they obviously were raised somewhere else.

The Flood / Re: Your Dreams?
« on: October 30, 2016, 08:46:23 PM »
I always have a hard time retelling dreams because there's not a lot of sense to them. Whenever I'm describing a weird dream of mine, I have to say, "Then suddenly I was here," or "Then suddenly I was doing this," at least ten times during the story. There's never any coherency. One second I'll be dirt-biking across a volcano filled with corn, then I'm suddenly a pinecone or some dumb shit. I wish I had more fluid dreams more often, I barely ever have them.

I'm scared because people will tell me my music is trash.

That was an okay track, I guess, but my overall thoughts on the record can be summed up by the title of the song, "Eh" (which is incidentally one of the better tracks, along with "Trash"). They delivered on the abrasion front, but this time, it just felt like there wasn't any rhyme or reason for it. It started feeling like "business as usual." It didn't surprise or shock me like TPTB did.

I'm glad you're listening to DG, though. I remember you asking about them awhile back.
Unfortunately, there tend to be only a handful of tracks from each album that I can honestly say I love, and I'm definitely guilty of only loving a lot of their more mainstream tracks like Guillotine. I don't know, I really want to enjoy them more than I do, but I have a hard time getting accustomed to the rhythm and beat structure in a lot of their songs. It's really unconventional.

I like and respect them because they're different, but maybe I just need to listen to them a bit more. My cousin saw them live in Boston a few years ago and said it was unreal because of the amount of energy in the crowd (And from the stage). Just two straight hours of aggression, zero breaks.

Favorite song is definitely Klink. Fucking love that one.

Anything to keep it away from me.

Ban all anime-related avatars, too. All weebs are required to have a substitute for other forums.

What about Imperial Japan having to use WW1 era planes because they lost so many of their WWII ones
What a bunch of goddamn clowns.

This website is really easy to use, you just have to look up the album or artist and it will find the art in a database. I think it's a pretty cool, convenient way to share your top fifty albums (If you have that many). I have a ton of guilty pleasures when it comes to music, but I tried to be pretty honest with myself about which album I've listened to the most, and which ones had the biggest impact on me. As it turns out, I don't have a very varied music taste.

Here's my list:

Sandtrap implied that physical strength in general is a gender-exclusive trait. Just because men are stronger than women on average doesn't make this true.
It's not gender-exclusive, not at all, but a man and peak physical strength will always be stronger than a woman trained in the same vein. That certainly isn't to say a woman can't achieve awesome feats of strength (Tons of women who train competitively are stronger than the average man), but the male body is just biologically more inclined towards that sort of activity.
can you read

I never argued against this
Yes, I can read, there's no need to be rude. And I was sort of getting that impression from you- And considering how much you despise men, I wouldn't put it past you to be the type of person to argue the idea that women and men are perfectly equal in terms of physicality. I didn't read everything you posted in this thread, so I'm sorry if the reply was answered by another response from you.

Y'know out of everyone who is still active here I think I'm still the most knowledgeable when it comes to Halo stuff, for better or worse. All the people who cared about it after lolhalo5 and were still interested in knowing more have all left.

Elsewise, I would say physics (quantum, astro, particle, mainly) but I know that Naru and Winy have space stuff down (they study it full time whereas I just do it as a hobby) and I'm not sure if anyone here does any physics stuff.
I'm studying astronomy and physics for my major, but  I have no clue on physics at all due to my terrible teacher
Wait, so you're a duel-major in Astronomy and Physics? I'm only getting my BA in Astronomy so I can make room for other general science courses, because I want to be a high school science teacher after I graduate.

Also, what year are you? I thought you were a Junior.

Gonna go out on a limb and say I might actually know the most about Red Dead Redemption.

Normally I'd say Astronomy, but I think Astronaru is a year further into the major than I am, so he probably knows more.
Dubstep. Really know my dubstep.

No it's more that we all joke about it but not when somebody is legitimately suicidal or tries to do it
In my experience, that doesn't stop people sometimes.

I'm genuinely surprised at the lack of edgy responses in this thread
I think it's because, even though people will readily joke about suicide, it's rare that anyone actually comes into contact with someone who can say that they successfully committed the act, but was revived and can now live to retell the experience. As sad and disturbing as the topic of this thread is, I think it's genuinely fascinating to read about a first-hand experience of successful suicide- Other people might feel similar.
