"The second was proposed by director Tim Longo. It had Sev, the sniper character (serial RC-1207), surviving to become the progenitor of the Rebellion's army. Douville mentioned the working tagline for such a game ("Every Rebellion begins with a single soldier") so it seems this version had a little more traction internally. LucasArts in the later half of that decade, though, was not a stable place, and "very few people involved with Republic Commando ended up staying on" with the studio, Douville said, one reason among many why the game was never realized." Why fucking live? Sev would have been the beginning of the rebellion? That would've been fucking bonkers cool. 963

Wasn't that funny; the humor felt very forced.
There were very few clever jokes, but a handful made me legitimately laugh- Like when he used the bodies to spell "Francis." See, that's a joke with good comedic timing, and one I didn't see coming. But most of the jokes were just comparing x to >Insert disgusting thing here<. Your face looks like a Your ass is like a Your worse than a You're uglier than a etc 965

Yeah, he's kind of a dick, but there are worse examples out there, he's just the most popular because of his outspoken nature and books on the subject of theism.

I get lost in video games very easy, so I lost motivation to complete the game. That's true, but some of them weren't in the story mode, right? My memory is really fuzzy, but I don't remember Jigglypuff in the story. I think there were others, too.Wolf, Toon Link, and Jigglypuff weren't available until after you had already beaten it. In NG+, there were three secret doors that led to them--but without a guide, you weren't gonna find them. 968

Nah, I don't like that sort of thing. Progressive buildup can be sensible in games, but the context needs to be right. Fighting games really aren't one of them. I remember when I use to obsessively play SSBB, some of the requirements for character unlocks were just tedious. Like, you needed to play 500 matches to get a certain character, so I'd just go into a match on Final Destination, set it to one life, jump off the edge, and repeat it over and over until I had who I wanted. That's just a stupid game mechanic.
I guess the point is, it varies heavily based on what's being unlocked, and in what sort of game. 970

Sometimes when I over-listen to an artist, I take some time off so that I can appreciate it again when I go back to them. But beyond that, I don't really abstain from fun things unless they're causing a problem.

The Flood / Re: Anyone Writing a Novel?« on: February 10, 2016, 11:16:11 PM »
I've never considered writing a novel, but I have an entire universe filled with characters and a storyline that I've imagined. I started it when I was eight, and I built off of it mentally until I was seventeen. The way I "Emoted" the story is... Weird, so I'll go in-depth if someone is curious, but I continuously moved the story forward for literally a decade. The only reason I don't do it anymore is because I need to be doing a specific sort of activity in a certain place for my mindset to be correct to continue the narrative, but I don't have that "Special place" here at college.
It's not so much that I want it to be a novel, it's more like something I'd create if given a TV series with, like, a fucking infinite budget. And it's a weird feeling having this entire universe of events and characters, and I'm literally the only one who knows anything about them. I can't imagine how many weeks... No, probably months of my life I've personally dedicated to moving that story forward just in thought. 979

"Problems," and as a result it impacted both of our attitudes towards being together. All I'll say is that if your ex's aunt says "You dodged a bullet when she dumped you," don't take her back a year later. This was the second time I dated her and I was advised by literally everyone not to give her another chance, but I did it anyway to see I could spite the odds. I couldn't; and it sort of sucks, but it is what it is. I'm struggling with deciding whether or not I want to go full-blown Chad and hook up with girls now. 983
