There are also a lot of "Bridge" members here from Bungle, we go on both pretty frequently.
Like myself, Fruit, Incan, Das, and a few others.
Um, I reside here.
Okay, so I never implied you didn't.

All I'm seeing is a really, really bad misinterpretation of normal atheist beliefs (Or lack thereof).

Please don't, I'll wear it with a badge of honor. Every time I make a mistake that just brings me one step closer to the truth. I'll happily make a fool myself now for all the world to see if it means I'll never make those mistakes again.
If I can offer a criticism that really doesn't have much to do with your beliefs; you write like we're stuck in a Shakespearean play. Like, dude, it's okay to just write down your thoughts as you'd say them normally. Your posts are so dramatic...

I'd like to remind everyone that atheism is one of communism's most effective tools; you're free to dance that dance but don't ever forget who's playing the tune. What.
A tool to make people arrogant, ignorant, and immoral. Atheism tells people that there is no absolute standard that you should hold yourself to, that anyone who claims as such is irrational and not nearly as smart as yourself, that you are above god and religion while simultaneously making "science" your new god and religion. I've spent enough time as an atheist to understand that it's all just a scam to trick people who believe they're far smarter than they actually are into believing bullshit. And the way in which it attacks western history and morality has communism written all over it.
"I was a misguided and misinformed atheists, therefore everyone else must be." What you're saying is ridiculous.

Yes they are. You can safely take any drug if you're responsible. If you think you can justify using heroine or krokodil with that line of reasoning, you're deluded.
You can, though. This was proved in Canada where a city provided a safe environment for heroine users to shoot up. You're wrong and look like a misinformed idiot.
>Advocating for heroin use I'm the idiot, lmao

I disagree with both you and Verb that anti-natalism is either of those things. That's a discussion for a different day.
I know, but I needed to clarify that my reference to what Verb said excluded his views on anti-natalism.

Wasn't Winy taking the exact opposite position against anti-natalism in Anarchy a few days ago?
I agreed with Verb that the "Smart, ethical ideas" (However he phrased it) always won out in the end. I disagree with both you and Verb that anti-natalism is either of those things.

But really, winy, the internet and it's information can also propagate religious ideology. Don't assume that it will destroy it.
I mean, just log on to facebook sometime.
I'm aware. That being said, people are smart. The good, rational ideas do eventually win out over the bad ones. Plus the majority of the pro-religious media people see on the internet is made by older people, and they're just gonna die out, if you ask me. It's more common to see atheists congregate on the internet, don't you think? /r/atheism (Shit place, but I need it for this point) has like 2,000,000 subscribers. /r/Christianity has literally like 1/20th of that. In places where opinions and information can spread more rapidly, progressive ideals do tend to triumph. Generations seem to be becoming more progressive and rational, as much as people like to pretend "Le kids these days" is a valid statement.

The Muslim population as a whole is growing and shows no indication of stoppage, not just the extremists.
A bump in the road, as far as I know. I'm not saying I'm accurately capable of projecting Islam's population over the next x amount of years, but I would be shocked if it approached any rate that actually rivaled or cancelled-out irreligious trends in all other nations combined.

Good to know that we just have to sit and wait out the Islamic threat to the western world, because you know what the future of Islam brings and I can trust you to know that the current trend of religious decline is definite and ever continuing.
It's insanely obvious that religion is declining, and it's going to continue doing that. What's caused its decline? Why are people relying less and less on theology to determine things? Technology, communication, distribution of information, and scientific reasoning. Are those things going away any time soon? No. They aren't. And as long as they continue to progress, religiosity will continuously go on a downward slope. I thoroughly disagree with anybody who argues that Islamic extremism is capable of stopping this progression to any meaningful degree. So yes, Islam is irrelevant to the greater trends. One group of loons doesn't speak for the remainder of societies that are clearly and increasingly becoming less religious, unless you think that atheists and agnostics are going to start throwing in with the Jihadists. That's such a short-sighted method of thinking.

Islam would like a word
I'm right.
You're not right about anything. Islam is the largest religion in the world and it keeps growing and its followers have breed as fast as rabbits.
To say it's not relevant, especially when they're given free reign to practice their barbarism in the West, is nothing short of idiocy.
Whoooooaaaahhh take a look at this! It's almost like there exists some sort of "Trend" phenomenon in this graph. Almost as if individual points don't necessarily reflect the "General" path of the line. Some sort of "Line" of "Best Fit," one might say.

Islam would like a word
I'm right.
You're right in that Islam is on a path to leveling itself out and possibly seeing a collective reformation in order to escape radicalism.
Realistically we can only expect Islam to increase in influence for the next few decades.
You can have a generally linear progression downward, and still have periods of rise. I'm disregarding Islamic expansion because it's not relevant to the grand scheme of religious trends in the world. It's going down.

Islam would like a word
Doesn't matter. Religion, as a whole, is still becoming progressively less and less relevant.

I'm unconvinced 343 didn't just use the "Pacing content" excuse as a way to weasel out of admitting that their game was, again, unfinished. This game shouldn't have been released until all of the staple features were properly implemented. Forge should've been in this game from day one, and the same goes for the rest of the custom game options. Their absence discouraged a lot of people from continuing to play the game, including myself.

How can you respect a decision like that? It might have just been gas, and he's calling it "god" for some reason.
i mean, whatever
I don't consider small-scale things like this very important. It's pretty much harmless, and religion is dying, so I could care less if a spattering of people convert back to theism here and there. So I guess I don't really "Respect" the decision as much as I do "Tolerate" it, I'm just trying to be polite.

Because I feel it in my heart. I feel something out there around me, something big. I can't exactly articluate it how I want to. I just believe. I wholeheartedly disagree with this type of thinking, but respect your decision.
