I can't criticize consoles because they are what they advertise. There isn't blatant false marketing and run-off hype with a console, even if they do stretch the truth a little with their performance.

And then there's just general noise pollution outside. Why should I have to bother a nearby residence (or if you live in the right valley, and trust me, valleys echo, anybody within two miles) when I could bring that thunderclap down to a slamming car door?
I just don't see a convincing argument for me to think that any of these muzzle devices should be legal.

Flash hiders and suppressors shouldn't be sold to the public. Their use may not be strictly military, but there's no need for them in civilian life. Wear earplugs or earmuffs. We all know why the suppressor was invented. Same with the flash hider. Same with the compensator. I also question the sale of scopes above 4x. I believe anything higher should be restricted. Same with sniper rifles. You'd think after all the serial killers that would set up in parking lots and buildings then shoot people randomly that we would've wised up about this sooner.
