It's easy to just let yourself become numb to avoid suffering. But it doesn't help. Unfortunately we have to care and we have to deal with our problems. It's really hard, I know. It's extremely painful, when you're thrown into a situation most likely unprepared and it drastically changes your life for the worse.

I'm not saying it'll get better eventually. I have absolutely no idea what your situation is and it might be that it just keeps getting worse day by day. But it's true that happiness is a choice. If I can manage to smile once in a while I'm sure you have something going for you.
