Naw man, I even ran to the very end of the one wooden plank that sticks out a bit. Modding the game to run at 60fps just screws with jump distance. In the DS games, the way the engine works is tied to your fps. In DS2 this creates a bug where modding it to run at 60 instead of 30 makes all your weapons decay twice as fast because the game registers twice as many frames of it degrading whenever you hit something. In DS1, it causes issues with gravity meaning that your jump distance is shortened, ladders and elevators can glitch out and physics on sloped/sliding surfaces can be a mess. I might have fallen either way, but I think the 60fps didn't help much.
