The amount of failure Zesty brings to this forum really drags us down as a community. Honestly, it's embarassing. We had to deal with him on b.net, but at least his shitty ass threads would get pushed to page 2 quickly enough.

I don't see why we need to deal with him here. I think we can all agree not a single person here likes him. He's bad for our image as a community.

If you do that, who'll brink the dank to the bank? lel stupid skrub
Further proving my point.

Serious / Re: A challenge for the religious/conservative users here
« on: September 27, 2014, 05:32:19 AM »
Atheists can be good people too, but on average they're not. I think that's the key distinction.
Most definitely.

Just yesterday I stoned a woman for talking out of turn (I didn't give her permission to talk you see) and then later I blew up a school because girls were attending it. Then I threw acid in the face of a 6 year old girl. Then I hit my dormmate in the head with a hammer because he's a homosexual.
Spoiler
Oh wait. That would be the shit you hear on the news that Theists do.

Serious / Re: Do you believe in a god, if so why?
« on: September 27, 2014, 05:19:39 AM »
I believe in Yahweh.
Why? I've got a big scar on my back. Lucky to be born, lucky to be alive.

Long story short: I wanted to know who this "God" I learned about at church was.
I wanted more than just reading the bible, I wanted God to be as real to me as He was to Moses, Abraham, Paul etc. I wanted to personally encounter Christ.

I got what I yearned for. And I'm now a Christian before anything else.
I nearly died at birth.

DOCTORS saved me by performing surgery. Not god. Please don't thank some imaginary being if doctors saved your life by performing surgery on you too.
Doctors saved you, but they didn't save me.

I had a 50/50 chance and there was nothing they could do.
And thankfully you made it through.

But it wasn't god. What about the kids that die at birth? You and me survived, but what about them? All part of his "divine plan"?

You're seeing things that aren't there because you want to believe everything is going according to plan and the world isn't this chaotic mess with no reason or rhyme. Any visions you've had of god or anything you've heard that you think is god, you're imagining/exaggerating or you have some sort of mental problem. Maybe even a tumor.

I don't have mental problems.
And I don't have much of an imagination anymore honestly.

Yes its all part of this ultimate plan. The world being chaotic, is part of the plan.
Why are things getting worse? Revelation tells you what happens.

All those kids who die at birth, yeah that's part of God's divine plan.
There is a reason they didn't survive. Your tempted to simply look at just the child and say "God didn't give them a chance." But maybe that child's death finally broke the mother's hardened heart?
Or caused the father to see that life isn't worth wasting?

I notice a common theme here. The users who don't believe are pretty prone to call the religious users retarded or claim that they have medical problems. Quit being so defensive over the fact that we have a hope you do not.
That's a serious delusion you got there. I'm not calling you retarded, I'm calling you deluded.

It's funny how when good things happen you thank god, but when bad things happen you say nothing. And if asked, you just say he works in mysterious ways and everything is going according to some sort of plan.

That's not hope. It's insanity. If you such little regard for human life that a baby dying isn't that big a deal to you, aren't you the most hopeless of all? I have hope. I just don't confuse hope, which is a natural human trait and requires no religion of any kind, with believing in some cruel god who is not worthy of worship in any way. The fact that you can say he actively kills babies to prove a point and that you worship him makes you look like some insane dude part of a death cult. Which is really all that Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are. You guys are obsessed with some dude coming back, taking you to heaven and destroying the planet we live in. If anything, you hate your species far more than any atheist, because you're waiting for the end of the world. That isn't hope. Not even close.

This isn't exactly serious material <.<

But at least it seems to be flamewar free ._.

I have it cut irregularly, I prefer to have it short but I find it difficult to get to a barber's/hairdressers frequently and so it's usually just when I'm down at my grandparents (Thus having more time to get out and about)
ALRIGHT PSYCHO

Congratulations on getting ninja.

I can't even hear what the guy is saying.

Supposedly he was talking during the game. His argument was that he had a lot of money on the game and that he wasn't talking during the points. I don't know the rest of the story. My guess is that old lady started shit with him, and the old man at the end made things even worse.

Basically, I'd be the only one in the crowd that would have sympathy for him because everyone else in the audience is a fucking tool. Fuck people.
Who doesn't talk during any game in a stadium? Those places are always loud as hell.
Tennis is gay as shit though. You have to be quiet or the poor sensitive players will be distracted.

What do ya know. Another God thread where atheists make fun of religious people!

Fucking lowlifes.

What do ya know. Another post from PSU complaining about atheists.

Business as usual.

Of course I'm complaining about them (you).

Whenever someone posts why they believe in God, you have 3 warrior atheists jumping out of the woodwork and making fun of them.

You're an atheist? Thats all good. Do you. Why do you guys feel the need to ridicule every religious person?
Except it's apparently not "all good" with you. Any time an atheist mentions something about the Pledge or "In God We Trust" on our money, for example, it's a problem for you.
Yep, because atheists make those things a big deal when they really arent.

Its not really a problem in my book, just slightly annoying that atheists have nothing better to worry about.
America is a secular nation. It should not have lines in the pledge devoted to something not everybody believes in. I pledge allegiance to my country, not a fairy tale.

You want to be religious? That's fine with me, because I actually care about freedom. But do not think for a second that means your religion is important enough to be part of the pledge of to be on the money. Why not pledge allegiance to Zeus? No religion should hold power like that. If you impose your religion on me and I take it lying down, where does it end? America is the land of the free, not the land of the oppressive majority. Atheists should not to have to worship something they don't believe in, and those of other religions should not be forced to worship a god they don't believe in.  Religion does not belong anywhere but in your homes, minds, and places of worship. It has absolutely no place in the miltary or government.

I'd be more inclined to agree with you if you didn't refer to my beliefs as fairy tales.

But sorry, this is a place of freedom. If voters want religion recognized, its going to be recognized.

You seem like the type of dude to complain about the word "Christmas" being used in a local mall.
Like I said, believe what you like. It literally has no effect on my life-until it's part of the government and military. It's not even about voters, this stuff is just put into place by the people in power because they're Christian.

And no, people who have a problem with Christmas can go fuck themselves in their own country.

Fixed, and thanks.
Are you trying to say that Christianity isn't a source of morality but other religions are?

Or are you trying to say it's the only one that is?

DC should never be a state

Does it not disenfranchise the eligible voters who live there?
Well put it this way. Do you want one state to be in control of the nation's capital?

That's why it wasn't made part of Virginia or Maryland.

Quote
Does it not disenfranchise the eligible voters who live there?
No one said they have to live there

Sounds like an argument used during the Jim Crow era. Not linking you to being a racist or that it's the same thing, but the argument of "Don't like it? Move" is extremely childish. You can't just pack up, quit your job, and move at a whim's notice.
You're the one that chose to live there, its your problem. People need to learn this thing called being responsible for their actions.
So kids born there chose to live there?
