We need a fucking app right naow. One thing I give credit to Bungie is that they don't make thier app only available on the newest IOS.

Same here, but that's mainly because I have little to no interest in browsing the forum on my mobile device. Maybe people have genuinely valid complaints against web browsing or tapatalk.
I actually only go here on my iPhone. Works perfectly, and a hell of a lot faster than my shitty laptop.
I'll give it a try on my new phone some time then, see how that goes.

Yup, lots of people are doing it due to hard times. Why would advertising agencies do it? Well their product gets pretty well known if you have people driving around advertising your company and/or product. It's a great way to advertise and the people who do so make easy cash. It's win win.

No way. I had a Samsung Star Wifi or whatever it's called, and I got an iPhone 5S recently. It feels like I've been using an iPhone my whole life. I knew where everything was almost immediately and how to use it. Definitely the best interface I've ever used, very user friendly.

I thought the goblins/orcs/whatever looked a little shitty, even compared to LOTR.
I can't even remember most of the films, or the book for that matter... but I remember the book had more of a magical feeling to it. Really lighthearted, even when scary shit was happening. And I didn't like how they did mirkwood - in fact, I can barely remember it. When I try to think back to that scene I imagine it as I pictured in my head when reading the book.
Idk though, there's just.. something missing from the movies. I still enjoyed them though, and I'll surely watch them a few more times.
Mirkwood was pitch black at night. They didn't even have them crashing into the elf feasts at night or anything. Horrible. Just horrible. I'd say it's as insulting as what Michael Bay did to TMNT, if not worse.
