One of the things he unlocks for his knife is a bipod, which is part of his stupid game breaking existence <.<
Basically DICE are throwing in a useable easteregg for the fans as another tip of the head towards the show which is pretty popular >.>

It's safe to say that it did, but DICE have been working their asses off for the last year to fix the game and now it's really something special. It should be fairly cheap to pick up too, even on next gen systems <.<
