Yeah yeah ISIS is the embodiment of evil and all that jazz, but let's not get caught in the hype. This happens every single day in Africa, Mexico, South America, China. Yet we only seem to care when it's near oil.

Odd considering the African continent has arguebly the largest untapped mineral and energy reserves in the world. Just look at Nigeria and South Africa who are more recently benefitting from it.

You bring kids into the world because that's what we do. It's how we're here, it's how you're here complaining about being born. I'm not complaining about being born. I'm rather content with my life. I'm still able to recognize that having children is wrong, though.
Because you have no attachments? I have many attachments. I just recognize that they all have no intrinsic value--it's all in my head. That's how it is for everyone. Difference is, I don't act like life is worth living just because I was fortuitous enough to have been born with my life, rather than the life of someone who... was disemboweled at age ten, or some shit.
I'm not denying bad and inexcusable things happen, and that some people would have been better off never existing. But everybody? No. Not even close.
