The Flood / Re: Some of my friends don't understand what work is.
« on: February 13, 2015, 05:31:10 PM »
I encounter this occasionally with some of my older gaming friends (older as in time, not age)

NEET: AY WHAT ARE YA UP TO I'M BORRRRREEEEEEEEEEEED
Me: Studying
NEET: How boring
*neet rings me on skype*
*I decline*
NEET: CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL
Me: I'm busy working, I can't talk now
NEET: Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy studying is bs xd

After a bit more of my time being wasted, it ends with the typical 'I have to get on and work now, bye' to howls of protest that someone might actually be doing something with their time.

*sigh*
Don't worry cuzz, one day people like you and me are going to tell those people what to do.

German Shepherd's and Huskies are two of my favorite dogs.

Enig pointed out that Marley and Me had an even worse scene, and he's right. They show him slowly closing his eyes and then it fucking flashes back to him being a puppy and your heart just rips in half.

Dammit, I almost feel myself tearing up right now thinking about it.
I did get teary eyed there. It's just... you know that day is going to come.

This doesn't prove women are incompetent (but they are, let's face it), it merely proves that for man to survive, he must have his beloved Canine by his side. Or something.

Moral of the story: Get a fuckin' dog.
And then choke it yourself.

That scene makes me tear up every fucking time, it's so god damn sad.
I skip that scene. I have a German Shepherd myself so.

What about the proclivity for gang violence to occur in impoverished or unhealthy areas? Isn't that a form of radicalism?
...No. Not at all. How did you even come to this conclusion?

So you see no connection between poor neighborhoods and tendency for gang violence?
When the fuck did I say that?

I'm asking you how you came to the conclusion gangs are a product of "radicalism"? Gangs form mostly because of poverty so kids stick together and then start doing all sorts of shit. But they don't read a book and steal and rob because it tells them to.

Radicalism isn't specifically religious. I was asking if he thought gangs were a form of radicalism of crime.
I don't see how. There's nothing "radical" about how gang members kill each other. It's like a war.

I wouldn't agree with that word being used in this context. Doesn't really make sense.

It's radical in the sense that they are often far more extreme than typical criminals. Really I just wanted to know if he was saying poverty doesn't inherently cause a higher tendency for extreme criminal behavior (religious or otherwise).
Not really. A lot of these killings are in retaliation. It's even understandable.

Poverty causes crime.

I would like to give you a reminder. Explosion Imminent is not a nickname. It's an insult.

Anyone that tells you otherwise is full of it, and if you say it to me or even mention it in my presence or say that Deci is Explosion Imminent, you're dead to me.

Just like how Lemon is already dead to me because he kept saying it.

Let that be a warning to you. I'll remove friends if I even have to. I'm not joking.

I should report you for leaking content from Anarchy. I regret writing that shit anyhow.

Just. Fucking. Stop.

Not letting them know it bothers you is how you make it stop

It got 10 fucking likes! All pretty much translating to point and laugh at Deci.

Do you ever see me getting 10 likes legitimately? No. Because
You rarely post anything funny. All you do is complain or just post really awkwardly or cause drama.
