It's radical in the sense that they are often far more extreme than typical criminals. Really I just wanted to know if he was saying poverty doesn't inherently cause a higher tendency for extreme criminal behavior (religious or otherwise).
Not really. A lot of these killings are in retaliation. It's even understandable. Poverty causes crime.
