It's just another tactic with the aim of weakening movements. Minorities are just that, minorities, in a democracy they need allies in the majority to make a difference. So what you do when you want to obstruct the goals of minorities is you find ways to separate them from their majority allies. Usually the easier way to do this is to target the majority supporters and put them in a situation where it's harder to be an activist than it is to remain a complacent non-participant.

So you accuse those who stand up and be activists of doing so out of bad faith (accuse them of being a white-knight, virtue signaller) and/or you try to convince them that by standing up and being an activist they are in fact hurting minorities.

It's entirely possible for an ally to do either of those things, and those things happening can be a legitimate problem for activist movements and minorities, but where some people try to solve the issue and produce better allies, others wish to silence allies and stop the movement as a whole.
allies and enemies lmao oh man what happened to America
I never said enemy.
You didn't need to.
Do you think all reality works in binaries?
Why do you need allies if you don't have enemies?
Because we live in a democracy where things don't get done if the majority is completely indifferent???
You're not wrong, but it's just the way you go about discussing it that rubs me the wrong way. Everything is right and left, there's no people just discussing an issue. You're either this or that.

But this isn't what this thread is really about. This is about people getting offended for other people. It's dumb and useless.

First of all it smells great and though I can't defend the others I'm a hermit so it doesn't bother me.

If you see someone call someone else a racial slur and empathize and call that person out making it clear you don't tolerate that type of behavior, cool. Calling somebody a racist because they say "Indian" instead of "Native American" and getting offended for a group of people who might not even be present during the exchange is ridiculous. Race is definitely a sensitive issue, but I feel like too many white people have white guilt. Especially in America in regards to black Americans.

Why is this a problem? Because, believe it or not, it's a slippery slope. First, it was generally reasonable things like the example I just used about the natives, but it has recently gone into maximum overdrive with people claiming blacks cannot even be racist, and that whites (not exaggerating) are the root of most of the world's evil.

I made some nice tips for new players :) :) :)

What's the point of such malicious behavior?
i agree but what is the difference between doing this and leaving a misleading message in the game itself
Not much, you can't really be this evil ingame but it's just as bad.

Tempted, but Ive heard it does a DS2 and looses a lot of steam half way through. Any truth to that?
I'm not halfway through but the game just keeps getting better and better the more you play. You keep unlocking skills and getting better weapons, the types of enemies and the amount are just right. The loot system is great. From videos I've seen the game just gets more challenging later on, and for me that's the main attraction because I hate easy games. But actually challenging, not Dark Souls 2 "let's add 3 of the same boss that you have to fight all at once" challenging.

And apart from being able to jump, the combat is a lot more like Ninja Gaiden if you train in the way of the ninja training missions in the dojo.

It DOES crash people say, but so far it only froze once on me. When I bought it was running at like 5fps. But yeah there's a fix

Remember to click apply after changing the settings to that. If you don't have some of the options in the image or you have extra ones, don't worry I did too and it still worked.
