Because these are things that make sense in an open world game that gives you player choice?
You can kill pretty much anybody in this game. Why would they prohibit you just because it's a woman or beggar? They're not actively encouraging it and you get punished for doing it so I don't see how you can put that on the developers.
Also that pedo thing was clearly a moral choice. They're not encouraging the player to leave the kid and you can clearly tell the right thing to do is to free the kid.
Just because some bad choices exist in the game doesn't mean the developers condone them. It's all about player choice. Imagine a game where the only thing you're allowed to do is pet kittens and feed the homeless.
I expect this from a dog eater with avatar pictures of suggestive cartoon characters. No, it doesn’t make sense. If this was a detective game and you’re trying to bring a pedophile to justice that’d make sense. The game being open world doesn’t mean getting raped and allowing others to be raped “makes sense” and is a good feature of the game. There’s no reason for this heinous shit to be in games.

I know Rockstar has always made games where you basically just kill people for fun and sometimes they’re innocent and unarmed people, but that was basically the extent of bad things you could do. I don’t see how anyone but a creepy sick piece of shit could put this stuff in a video game and give you the choice to either commit these acts or allow them to happen.
