Cheat, I know my actions haven't been any better in the past and I have come across to you as a child before and acted really dumb and immature to the point where you believe I can't be trusted, but I really do say what I mean here, I can give the site new life and as Fedorekd said even make Chess an actual thing, I have a ton of fresh perspectives to bring to the table and I could potentially bring legitimate new members to the site, what do we have left to lose? I can make a good admin, I know you seeing this will throw you off guard at first making you go "wtf just happened and how did this sever get so active" but in all honesty, just think about it. You can give me a real chance here, a real chance to show these clowns that I am more than just a cheap punchline. I know what your answer is very likely going to be, so I'm not going to expect shit, but again, just think about it please.
When was this? I don't remember seeing it...
It was in the sep7agon discord server. Not mine but the “official” one.
link?
Manners don’t cost a thing.

There is. Almost none of us here have ever met each other and haven’t forged the type of friendships you can have when meeting someone face to face.
i do not see a meaningful difference

whether i see a person physically or not, i'm getting exactly what i want out of a friendship with them through our interactions--when i hang out with my best friend at my house to play smash, the medium that's between us is the video game we're playing, or the movie we're watching, or sometimes it's just the air between us

the words we say to each other are chosen for each other, and because we're friends, we speak a certain language to each other--i see him, i see his clothes and hairstyle, the image of himself that he wants to project to the world and say "this is me" with, and to me it all just seems like a game, because the fact is, you're not your clothes and your not your hairstyle

i've known him for 15 years, and i know him very well, but i can't ever know who he truly is, and i wouldn't know him any better or worse if we had met over the internet instead--the only difference is that he'd be wearing a profile picture or an avatar instead of clothes, which is really the same kind of thing--you're not your profile picture, your profile picture is merely a projection of what you want people to perceive about you

i can concede that it's a different form of interaction, but i don't see it as a divide, and when i use that word, i mean it in the sense that the differences are so great that they are irreconcilable or incomparable

i just dislike it when people pretend as though the internet is this extraterrestrial realm where things are so different and people act so different--when they really truly act the same, and in some cases, the internet serves as a better microcosm for the human psyche than the real world ever could, and that's part of what makes it so useful and intriguing

It doesn’t mean these are worthless experiences or conversations, but I’d say most people just aren’t real about who they are. Half the people here don’t interact with other in the way they would if this were in person. A lot of people play a character. You can meet a lot of cool, decent people online but there is a clear difference between a friend you can see every day and one you’ve never seen before.

Personally, I don’t care. I take things as they come and any interaction had online is just as real as one had in person. But it’s not exactly the same. Just like it’s sad when a friend moves away or you move away from friends and instead of handshakes it’s phone calls and messages.
again, do you think people don't play characters outside of the internet?

do you think people are real about who they are outside of the internet?
Of course a lot of people put on a facade. It’s very hard to find people who are real. But it’s just not the same. You’re not having any physical interactions or seeing them and all that entails. You can’t play sports, have something to eat watch a movie etc. It’s just not the same at all. Even playing a video game with someone online isn’t the same as a friend sitting next to you. There’s a reason there’s such a high demand for virtual reality.

DecimatorOmega. I know a few of you are rolling your eyes already. But I was looking back at the older threads here that he occupied. Some of them have been redacted so if anyone can fill me in on what happened it would be great
DecimatorOmega, or as he's known in the dark and dangerous underworld of Glendale, Armen the Armenian, is a tenth level wizard who sells heroin to young black girls.

He uses his signature Crackromancy to curse niglets with potent addictions, though it should be noted that Crackromancy is just an exact copy of Cokeromancy, which he stole from the Elder God Viltre.

In his spare time, Armen likes to issue copyright notices on YouTube.

If you attempt to help him in any way to become a better person, he will use his ultimate ability, Self Destruct. This causes a complete and catastrophic meltdown, and forces him to become dormant for an extended period of time. Armen still believes this ability does damage to opponents, though most other creatures are largely immune to it, save for a hearty chuckle.
fucking cringe

Nioh is not worth full price and constantly replicates what was wrong about early souls titles.
Nioh replicates almost nothing from Dark Souls.
