LOL so you think those people were doing all this out of the goodness of their heart? of course they were trying to make money. youtube channels and twitch channels. @Desty Ofc there was interest in monetary gain - however to say the goal of pds channel was solely money is wrong - if you watch and listen they care deeply about the community and players, many of the guides while having adds also took time and effort to make and were largely guided by wanting to help the base - not exploit it like bungie. we both can agree that the destiny 2 is a flop but to think that the game is made for casuals is a farce. it is lacking on what made destiny great because the people who had the vision to make destiny are gone. it wasn't made for casuals. it wasn't made for anybody, but bungie trying to fulfill their end of a contract. I disagree. The clan rewards, dumbing down of pvp, making hard to get weapons no better then any others, etc were all done for the casual base to not feel left out What makes a game for casuals is the community that builds the following that gets the attention of the people you would consider casuals. people that came in year 2, people that came in year 3. Being addicted to A game makes you a casual. Playing only ONE game makes you a casual. I am a gamer bro, a hard core gamer. How much time i put in destiny doesn't make me a core or hard core gamer but how much gaming i do all together. And believe it or not doing the same thing over and over and again is part of being a gamer. Playtime doesn't define hardcore for me at least, endgame does, but to each thier own

they werent the only people to do those things and they wont be the last. @Desty They were by far the biggest and best, with this statement you clearly show ignorance, they helped hundreds of thousands of players for 3 years and can no longer continue on this trash of a sequal they were just another group of people trying to make money off of other people's work. Lol wut, they provided easy guides and weapons showcases, thier websites had every possible rolls weapons could get and so on, how were they only interested in making money off other people's work??? and about the fan boys, you will all be back one day. not cause the game is great but because it has the CASUAL following again. Uh, no we won't, 6 million people left after week 3 and none have came back, catering to casuals was the biggest mistake bungie made with d2 since they up and leave as soon as the next big game comes out anyway hard core means hard core. keep moving on to games like fortnite and see how much depth you can find doing the same thing over and over, dying again and again, having to collect the same loot over and over again...wait that is destiny...but with no lore. Except it's a pvp game which means no matter what something will always be different about the current game vs the last one, also the game is 100% free and has weekly free updates that keep it fresh...unlike d2 which we paid for to o my get an inferior product compared to a free one.....D2 has the same "do this activity again and again" except it's even worse since it's always the exact same in pve with rewards being what you already had anyway

Meanwhile pd has given updates, found siva and ghost locations, done lore, weapon reviews, how to get × weapon, how to get × quest (which I used to find especially helpful during events like fotl), raid guides, weapon and armor rolls, how strike scoring and other things worked, etc and helped hundreds of thousands of players out, they were one of if not the most dedicated source for info and the fact that they've discontinued is just another clear example of how badly D2 has failed.
And yet the fanboys will still defend this garbage of a sequal smh
