Korra is a 50 year old man Jono and if not she spends all her time talking to TBlocks I don't think you have much of a chance also Korra was a terrible and depressing show why would have old Katara or whatever her name was and everybody else dead wtf

Like honestly...yeah?

Im sick of being cussed and verbally abused by morons who dont understand a system, dont want to learn and everything wrong is suddenly my fault because Im behind the counter.

They dont want help, they want to be a cunt, Im getting depressed because of how many cunts there are. Im thick skinned but being confronted like that almost daily is really fucking demeaning.

So yeah why cant I charge someone for insulting me for no reason other then doing my job.
I hear you but it's one of those laws that would spread the police too thin and never get enforced.

Yes, I play it. The question is: will you face me?

Oh I'll face you alright.

Halo Online, pick a time, date, and map.

I'll face you, and I'll lose, but at least I'll lose with honor and not quit. Quitting is for pussies.
This Saturday, not sure what time, Guardian.

June 2nd it is.
So what hacks are you gonna use?

None. There's no point in cheating.

id like to point this out

I already pointed that out. It doesn't excuse all the other times he's said some pretty bad stuff to people. But again, I don't know all the angles.
Youve said some pretty bad shit but if you died I wouldnt plaster that shit all over your social media on the same day it happened and say "well thank fuck for that"

Doesnt excuse what he's said in the past, but jeez these people have gotta give it some time.
That's literally what I just said.

Of course not, although that doesn't mean that hate speech laws should necessarily be avoided.
It should, it voids free speech.

Anyways if you feel like there's something unresolved and she's open to talking then I guess go for it. But it could be a really messy situation and maybe even make things worse. Personally I feel like no matter how it ended, it's over. There's nothing left to talk about or fix, just leave her in the past even if she's still around in your life. She doesn't matter anymore.

I don't feel like there's a high chance of it making worse. We never really got "closure" and I am mostly over her (I've seen pics and videos on social media and remember thinking to myself "I feel absolutely nothing, and that's awesome." I don't want to be with her, I don't think we'd be good together. She really doesn't matter, but I don't want these, I guess, "flashbacks" ruining my routines every couple of months.
That might not ever go away. They're triggers (real ones, not tumblr ones lmao) that if bad enough can send you in a downward spiral for days. I don't have any advice on how to combat that except try and tough it out, sorry man.

In fact some of the best stories are those in which characters are introduced but you don't know everything about them and there is more focus on the plot and how the characters react to challenges they face.
I mean, the characters still grow as a result of these challenges. Han Solo didn't remain static throughout the original trilogy.
That's exactly my point. He didn't have an origin story either. It feels like every reboot of every series keeps trying to recapture the magic of the original but instead of doing what those people did they just make a stupid boring origin story where he boring character does some boring stuff to kind of become like the original character was at the end of the movie for 5 minutes. It's lame.
I agree that the origin story was unnecessary, and the film didn't really justify itself either. But you seemed to be saying that you wanted a film where Han Solo is the exact same throughout and just does Han Solo things for 2 hours which sounds even worse.
What's wrong with good old fashioned Han Solo for 2 hours? Isn't that the whole point of this movie? That everybody likes Han Solo and wants to see a Han Solo movie?

the whole thing turned crap and mundane when they took the hot heady, larger than life but clinched romance from the old movies and said where are they now? oh they got divorced. just like everyone's parents. just like you will. Even in fantasy, it's just divorce

Because we already four other movies where Han Solo does Han Solo things.

I'd rather they just left the OT characters alone and did new things.
I agree, they should come up with new characters. But since they decided to make a Han Solo movie, at least give us Han Solo, not whatever this is.

I think I already made this thread without the sugar coating. Chemical castration, and maybe pay them a reward to do it as an incentive. Unless we can somehow genetically modify the person to get rid of this, I don't see any other (humane) way.

I don't like how they neutered Han Solo. He wasn't a macho male role model who initiates the plot but rather a one-sided comic relief character who was just along for the ride. I found every other character in the movie more interesting than him.

Well he kind of grew into that by the end. It wouldn't be very interesting if his character was the same as he was at the start of ANH, right? But I do agree he didn't feel like the protagonist.
A movie about Han Solo wouldn't be interesting if Han Solo is anything like he was in the original movies?
The film is more about how he grows into that character, which he pretty much becomes by the end of the film.
Boring. They should've just made an action adventure movie about Han Solo working for Jabba or something and it ends right where IV starts and he meets Luke And Obi Wan in the cantina.
Character development is boring? The film we got is still an action adventure film, but with a character who actually grows throughout the adventure rather than remaining static which really would be boring.
Origin stories are getting old. I think an Indiana Jones type of movie would've been better where it's just the protagonist doing his thing. I don't really care how Han Solo came to be, I like the character.
