I'm going to share something. The worst fucking thing. I've had a massive breakdown in reality. I'm currently not sure whether we're all real. Weird and unhealthy shit has been happening around me. Patterns of paranoia and degradation. I think I might be in my own semi-lukewarm hell for people for can't quite get into heaven when they die. And challengers 'beep beep' is a part of it. Whenever I'm standing in the backyard, approaching a state you might loosely call hopeful, at that moment a car or a truck will immediately 'beep beep' me. I've learned to stay in a flat emotional state in order to avoid it happening very often but it still happens at least once a day. Madness.
I'd apologize and try to make peace with you but you'll probably just throw it in my face. Either way, I do apologize. But your current mental state is I'm sure more to do with the residual effects of your substance abuse and trauma from a near death experience than me posting "beep beep" on the forum.

Challenger I'm not saying we shouldn't adopt kids--I'm just questioning why anyone would even want to be a parent in the first place. You have to know that it's the biggest responsibility you could ever have--and one fuck up can change your kid's life forever. Now why would anybody want that on their ass? That's all I'm saying. Ok, I see what you mean. And I get it, the smallest thing you say or do can affect a child in extreme ways even 20 years on in their lives with Kek knows what consequences. And like I said--it's easy for me to question it, because I'm not a well-adjusted individual. Why do you say that? I can't possibly imagine having a child at this juncture, so it's very difficult for me to look at anyone else and say, "Yeah, they'd make a good parent."
Well, I really don't think anybody is ever truly "ready" to raise a child. Even people at their 40's don't know themselves that well, they're still learning and growing. It's just one of those things we do. Some people are great parents, most are terrible. I don't need to tell you that, I think we're both on the same page when it comes to how we view life.

Are there reasons for using a horse in the city that outweigh the convenience of other modes of transportation as an officer?
Even if one doesn't sympathize with the horse this is a relevant question broached by this guy.
They're used as intimidation and are much harder to steal if an officer requires a dismount.

And here I thought officers were intimidating enough with their weapons. I don't know how (or if) these horses are trained for trotting around the city, but typical horses are pretty easy to spook. This doesn't bode well for the safety of the animal or the officer. You don't necessarily even have to steal the horse to limit that officer's mobility.
This is a stupid argument to make because you seem to forget there are/were war horses. Trained to not get frightened by loud noises or to be intimidated easily.
