You're sitting there calling people dumb and uneducated and claiming they're all conspiracy theorists. They're not. They're sick and tired of being jerked around by politicians with false promises who do nothing but damage the country.
I'm not saying they're uneducated for feeling that way. I'm saying they're dumb for doing exactly what your final sentence suggests. Their ignorance does not lie in them feeling disenfranchised. It lies it them being so sick and tired of being jerked around by politicians with false promises who do nothing but damage the country, that they will vote for the single largest jerking politician with the most false promises who will cause more damage to the country than just about any other choice.

I agree with much of their concerns and feelings regarding the current system and definitely do sympathise with them. But I think they're idiots for supporting a con man who will just make things worse. Trump is every bit as corrupt as anyone else. He's just as much part of the corporate 1% elite. He will be self-serving and looking out for his own interests first and foremost. He says what people want to hear, spreads blatant lies and misinformation, and promises them the world in the most vague way possible. And that's why I said what I did.
And I agree with you. We're on the same page with this.

My issue with your previous post (and some other posts you've made), is that you need to be careful with what language you use. Because if you come off as elitist and arrogant, it makes the people who support Trump feel validated.

Nothing. He'll blame it on a rigged system and many of his moronic fans will whine and complain on the internet, utterly blind to the fact that Trump's worst enemy is himself and that he destroyed his own candidacy with his stupidity, lack of competence and poor character.
Most of the people on /pol/ know he keeps shooting himself in the foot.

But look at how you're talking. What do you expect? You're sitting there calling people dumb and uneducated and claiming they're all conspiracy theorists. They're not. They're sick and tired of being jerked around by politicians with false promises who do nothing but damage the country.

Unfortunately they can't see they're being rused either way. Or maybe, deep down, they do know that. They just want a change so badly they're willing to support an asshole like Trump.

You're doing this thing again where you just say things but you don't actually explain why or how or anything about it.

Do you think I'm just going to take your word for it?
Do you think I'm going to accept your retarded argument where you call sports stupid when it's blindingly obvious you have no idea what you're talking about?

I don't even know why I'm continuing this retarded conversation when you think rolling in the grass is equivalent to professional athletes playing a sport.

Quote
The industry. The only reason there's an industry at all is because there are tens of millions of dumb idiot sports fans to support it. If no one watched professional league sports, there would be no sports industry.

Go ahead play and watch and enjoy sports all you want--but it's stupid to build an industry out of it, and it's stupid to support said industry.
I'm not complicit in anything. The industry does very little wrong, this is all in your mind.

It's a sport. People like to play it, people like to play it competitively. It's interesting to watch people play it competitively, and people had the smart idea of making money off it. There's nothing stupid about it.

The point is that there's nothing under the sun that I don't hate. Do you expect me to be the kind of person who's totally cool with the jewelry industry? I don't have to actively condemn it to condemn it in my mind. The reason I don't talk about it is because it's not relevant and no one's interested. The things I rant about on this website are subjects that most people here can sink their teeth into, and we can have a real discussion about it. The jewelry industry? Not so much.

I wish I had more time in my day to devote to all the stupid shit in the world, but I don't.
Good for you.

It should be wiped from the face of the Earth.

But apart from that, the point is they're huge hypocrites.

There really were high chances of a Third World War during Obama's presidency.
I think that's overstated way too much. You have more a risk of that from other nations.
I don't think people understand how high tensions were.

Is it dumb because the notion offends you? Because that doesn't actually matter.
It's dumb because what people enjoy does not show how intelligent or wise someone is.

Making this shitty argument of "dogs like rolling the grass cause they're dumb and we don't cause we're smart lol" doesn't change that.

Yes, it is.

It's a game. Games are created to have fun. Not flex your intelligence.
are you sure you understand the argument being made

whoever said games were created to flex your intelligence
Whoever said fun is a measure of intelligence? I mean, to an extent, it is. I don't disagree with some of the arguments made.

But to say you're stupid because you enjoy playing with a ball is just, well, dumb. I think you conflate the fact that the perceived wrongdoings of the industry is the fault of the people watching athletes play the sport. It isn't.

Why pick on sports as a waste or misuse of money and time? Why not the legimately evil jewel industry? Where there's actual slave labor and murder to sell people shiny rocks.

which Hillary is. She's Republican tier in hawkishness. If anything, I'd like her to show strength to Russia. Obama dun do it. Trump wouldn't do it.
Careful what you wish for. I can see her foreign policy being anything but terrible.
Obama's has been pretty bad so far. Mostly because he just stays out of everything in terms of action. I enjoy his efforts with Cuba and all that.
lol

Obama's foreign policy has been excellent. In 8 years he's managed to repair half a century of evil and avoided several wars.
His deal with Iran and his red line crossing thing, which was later found to be tied into the Iran deal, have really put a tarnished factor on that.
He avoided war with Iran and has actually started negotiations.

What do you think? Iran was going to roll over and do everything America says?
Of course not, but Iran wouldn't try to enact war with America because they know they'd be wiped out. Iran getting a nuke would ensure they're THE regional power in the Middle East, but they wouldn't incite war with the US. They'd just continue what they're doing now, which is supporting terrorists and combating them via proxy war.
It wouldn't be Iran alone vs America alone. There really were high chances of a Third World War during Obama's presidency.
