And for a lot of you, a more positive attitude really couldn't hurt.
This is very true, for me as well. The problem is that a lot of people here hold grudges for the stupidest shit, and they like to cause drama, something I usually get dragged into. I do not hold grudges against those people though, as long as they realize what they do.

« on: February 12, 2015, 10:50:46 AM »
The only mod I've ever downloaded was a sprint mod, which cost AP to use.

Actually, isn't sprinting already in the base game, and already costs AP?
No. Your character runs, but not very quickly, and you run slower when wielding two-handed weapons or wearing bulky armor. Your AP is used in VATS when fighting enemies.

I am so glad that Bethesda made the series something worthwhile. The older games are pretty much unplayable.

The Flood / Re: Why do most of you follow science over religion?
« on: February 11, 2015, 01:30:56 PM »
Because science actually studies things that could be possible in reality, and try to work towards proving their theories. Religion is people worshiping imaginary friends and books that were written by humans a couple thousand years ago.

« on: February 11, 2015, 11:05:36 AM »
Skittles. It depends on the mood I am in though, and eating an entire bag of skittles can make me feel ill. I try to avoid candy for the most part, but will eat it once in a while.

The Flood / Re: What does feminism mean to you?
« on: February 11, 2015, 10:57:07 AM »
It means absolutely nothing. Everyone is equal, no matter your gender, sexual orientation, social status, financial background, physical ability, or whatever. The only people who are not equal are murderers, rapists, slavers, and people who try to control the lives of others. So groups like ISIS, those groups in Africa, countries like Russia.

« on: February 11, 2015, 10:54:45 AM »
Boring..... Why do we not have a Halo movie yet? People love sci-fi, and if done right it could be quite successful. Or a Fallout based movie, people love post-apocalyptic shit.

We cannot be made in the image of something that does not exist. Evolution did not have us come about to look like some imaginary friend.

..

Wasn't that music video a metaphor of sorts about otaku lifestyle?
From what I understand it is about the pink haired female. It shows the otaku boy leaving her, there is a scene where she is on her knees crying and is grey and he is walking away from her. I am not sure of the entire meaning behind everything in the video, but I love the animation style, and the music is fantastic.

Indeed.
And they've made the only good (and canon) 3D fallout to date.
Nope. There is also Fallout 3 which is canon, and is actually better than New Vegas.

For Steam, if your profile is difficult to find because it has a common username or you change it often, post a link to your account so it can be added.

The Flood / Re: What are your plans after highschool?
« on: February 10, 2015, 07:21:35 PM »
I graduated in 2011. I was in the Air Force for two years and am now going to college to be an EMT.
Just curious since i'm enlisting after high school, what job did you have in the AF and did you get college benefits?
Going into Basic Training, I was open mechanical, meaning I could have been picked for any AFSC under the mechanical field. In the later weeks of BMT, those of us with open were told what job we would be going into, and where we were going for tech school. I was put into Vehicle Maintenance and loved it. It was a really relaxed job and I learned a lot of useful skills, not only vehicle wise, but social and leadership skills as well.

As for benefits, the DoD offers full tuition assistance for personnel on active duty, but it is at risk of being cut due to budget limitations. Hopefully that is not something that goes, but it is always a possibility. Other than tuition assistance, you have the Post 9/11 GI Bill, which you can either use while on active duty, or wait to use it after you get out. You have ten years after being discharged to use it. The tuition assistance pays to get you an Associates, so you will need to use the Post 9/11 GI Bill if you wish to go further than that while still on active duty.

Mom, Dad, please stop fighting.
I am not fighting with anyone, just pointing out flaws with the way he runs things so he can improve them.
I think you guys need to take this to the PM's. Keep it between you two and work things out civilly. But thats my two cents, take it or leave it.
Well, there is nothing to really work out. There is nothing negative between TBlocks and I. Class just decided to derail the thread and I decided to let him know why some people choose not to use the "official" plug.dj room, and what TBlocks can do to improve that place.
