No, Raven and Shadows were two different people. I used to be friends with Shadows and played Gears of War with her and talked about guns and archery. I have also talked to Foxy on XBL before. They are two different people, and I know the alts of each (the main ones anyway).

One of the things they are trying to teach you in basic training is to keep your composure. If you burst out laughing, you are going to be disciplined for it, because they are trying to train you to not be that way. In the Air Force, disciplines were things such as cardio workouts, pushups, situps, flutterkicks, flipping mattresses in the dorms and being screamed at while having to put the bed back together in under sixty seconds, shit like that. It really depends on where you are at and who the instructor is, since you will deal with many different ones. It is not so hard to get through, and one of the main things is that you are going through it as a team with the other trainees. The instructors like to see you actually working together to get shit done. It is about building discipline, building teamwork, and breaking down the lazy attitudes most people come in with.

Hey, half of the people here would not make it in the Air Force. I would still be in if it were not for idiotic and outdated DoD medical policies. Also, what you said about there being a right time for stuff is true. We would have times where we would just chill with our instructor, she was fucking awesome. She would tell us stories about things she did in her career and would let us ask questions about whatever and we would just talk for an hour or two. She would also blast music on her IPod in the dorm while we were cleaning.
