It depends on the demand for the game. If you are selling something for $20 that someone can buy used at Gamestop for $5, it will not sell obviously. I am sure you will not be able to sell them all either. It really depends on the area you live in and how many people are checking craigslist, or wherever you are selling them.

I wouldn't leave anything to chance. That's your choice. I personally would not risk my own safety just for a recoil spring. Anyone who is knowledgeable on home defense would advise you to do the same. I also wouldn't have a single-stack 1911 for home defense either. I would want a gun with a shit-ton of ammo for me to unload at whoever was in my house in order to increase the probability of a hit. It sounds to me like you don't trust yourself with loaded magazines.
I am not leaving anything to chance, as I have stated. As for using a 1911 for home defense, my 1911 is in my closet in my gun cabinet. A Ruger SR45 is not a 1911. What the fuck is with the last statement? Do not trust myself with magazines? Are you just trolling now?

I do not understand that. My guns and ammo are all close to each other. I have three full ammo cans in my closet next to my gun cabinet, and also have ammo in the cabinet. The keys to the cabinet I leave in the lock. My Ruger SR45 is in a drawer next to my bed, with six HP rounds with it in there. I do not keep them loaded in the magazine because I do not want to wear out the springs, but I always have ammo there.
What's the point of having the gun there if the gun isn't loaded. If someone breaks in, do you really want to spend the time to load the magazine, put it in the gun and chamber a round? That's a lot of time and is very hard to do under an adrenaline rush. If you really have it for home defense, you should keep it loaded with a round in the chamber. The magazines can take it. They are designed to have ammunition in them. Even if the springs do wear out, they are east to replace while lives are not
I am on the second floor, I would know if someone broke in long before they reached my room. I also have a Coldsteel Brooklyn Crusher next to my bed. My dog sleeps in my room, she is large, part rottweiler, and is very protective of her home and freaks out when she hears any noise. I am not going to keep my magazines loaded, that is a terrible idea. You are trying to make it sound like it is going to take me a year to put ammo in a magazine and load my gun, which is not the case. I can load those six rounds and have the magazine in the gun in ten seconds, it is not difficult.

A muzzle brake on a .45 ACP handgun?..... Why the hell? The only gun I have that has a muzzle brake is my .300 Win Mag Remington 700, because I actually need one on there so my rifle is not moving around too much while shooting at longer distances.

Uh, mine sits in a case in my closet with the rest of my guns. I take it out when I go shooting and then come home and strip it down and clean it. I prefer shooting my Ruger SR45 though, it feels nicer, has a larger magazine, and it is easier to take apart and put back together.
