Game feels pretty good to play, combat is very nice especially. Only issue is that on a HD TV game looks jaggy, but on the Switch it looks really nice.

North American preorders are up. Got my copy preordered!
EDIT: It should be worth noting that according to the product page, it says:
Please note that FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood is only an expansion pack and FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn is required to play the game.
It makes zero mention of Heavensward despite needing to complete the last Heavensward quest in 3.5 part 2 in order to unlock to main scenario for Stormblood. It appears that FFXIV will do what WoW does with their expansions and make Heavensward part of ARR.
Was mentioned in the stream that Stormblood comes with Heavensward  They also announced ARR will be renamed and marketed as the online starter edition There will also be a new complete edition, like the package FFXIV Online So ARR will stay as just ARR, but now renamed. Stormblood will be the only upgrade a player needs to buy.

Fanservice is there just like TFA, but TFA's was implemented more seamlessly. It's jarring here.

The only time I felt that with Rogue One was the stupid blue milk in the beginning. But it wasn't as in your face as the chess board thing from TFA, or whatever else they managed to throw in your face that my mind blocked off.

On PS4 I've never encountered the problem of slower downloads than on PC, seems to be the same for me most of the time.

Use coins with magic crafting, it gives you fuck tons of EXP on mobs, when you have like 100k exp, spend a night at the inn in Qualdin Quay, it doubles your tally. Furthermore you can buy a fat chocobo decker before using the spells to gain a 50% exp boost.
I'm only on chapter 5 but all my characters are lvl 47.
You can abuse it? I'd recommend just focusing the story at that point, final quest level is 44.

I've been doing the endless side content for a while, I know how XV ends since I saw the leak before release but I'm only the chapter where I have to head back to Lesatllum after getting the Regalia back from an imperial base. What's the deal with Chapter 13?
It has some stealth sections that drag on much too long, even if you can fight through them they still really drag on.

Currently I have heard many players around the world enjoying themselves. Players are pleased to be enjoying this new Final Fantasy, as well as the staff, we are really happy.
We’ve promised before launching the game that Final Fantasy needed to be complete before it was released. We will continue to update and we are planning to provide a more rich gaming experience to all players around the world. As a gratitude for exceeding 5 million copies, I’ve decided to strengthen the update plan considerably beyond the original plan and inform you of a concrete road map.
These are updates to make the Final Fantasy XV gaming experience more rich, and for longer playability, updates based on requests from players after the release, and in addition to DLC development reported previously. They will be given for free for the short term, mid-term, and long-term.
Final Fantasy XV Update Roadmap
Short-term goals
First, we will update the experience of Chapter 13’s gameplay. For that reason, we are undertaking many enhancements such as increasing the power of the ring’s magic. We will inform you of the details of updated content at a later time.
Mid-term goals
Updating the production of the second half of the game, further enhancing the experience of the story. For example, we are planning to add event scenes where “What happened to Ravus?” was from. In addition to the event scenes, voice responses and localization work to all languages will occur so we will work firmly on this as a mid-term goal. Details of the plan will be announced once it’s decided.
Long-term goals
We will make it possible to use important characters that appeared in the main game as playable characters. We will also consider adding an avatar system to create original characters. In addition to this, we will continue to actively update so that various players can enjoy Final Fantasy XV for a long time.
Others
After clearing the game, you can carry your progress into a New Game. Finishing it at a low level, an invincible suit, we will offer various items that extend the range of play. Fonts displayed can be enlarged for easier reading.
For the already announced DLC, it is planned to be released as originally intended.

Spoiler ]I really like it seems I played it at like 3am, but the stealth section was dragged on much too long. The parts after the stealth and the boss fight were pretty good though. I also liked learning the truth behind the demons, and how it humanized the people of the empire, showing the people in charge fucked it over.
It was like 1am in the morning and I thought I'd try and finish the game....
I did finish it but jess christ.
Spoiler I had just gotten to Altissia, and I decided I should probably beat the story before I became too over levelled. So I just rushed the story and ended up being awake at 4am crying over the ending.

Halo 4 was fine, you guys are overreacting. Good Campaign - Terrible Multiplayer = Okay Game
Even if it had a good story to some people, the overall level design, enemy AI quality and enemies overall were simple not up to par. The campaign just wasn't that good, it lacked really any memorable moments from a gameplay standpoint.
