Lemon is right. They're physical DLC.
That's not necessarily a bad thing though. They make decent collectibles if you're into that, and their compatibility with games makes them a little more dynamic than your standard figurine. However. The digital content is hardly game breaking.
Not something I would go for, since they're clutter the way I see it. Not worth the purchase if you're only in it for the digital content.
I'm surprised they actually sold as well as they did. GG Nintendo.

I actually found the rest of those enemies relatively easy, especially the Phalanx. The whole area was a great place to farm souls too. I had some trouble with Jerry on NG+ though, otherwise it wasn't short off a breeze.
