The rain is just as bad here, many parts of the town flooded, but luckily I live on a hill so only the peasants will drown.

I watch a lot with the intention of getting spooked.

Always finish the movie disappointed. They're not even remotely entertaining.

I've concluded that horror movies as a genre are objectively shit.

If you disagree, please recommend.
The Babadook

intending to get spooked is a bad reason to watch any movie
you watch movies because they're good movies, and the babadook is a good movie
Awful movie.

More cringe than horror.
like i said, if you're watching horror movies for horror, you're a dumbass

but w/e
Youre right. I'm not doubting some of them are great movies either, but the Babadook is simply horrendous.

Never seen one that was genuinely frightening. Would be an experience, plus I can prove to my self I'm not such a soulless husk.

In the Mouth of Madness
It Follows
From Beyond
Suspiria
They Live (kinda not really horror though IMO)
Videodrome
Vampyr
Some good movies in that list, though I wouldn't call any of them spooky.

These are the ones I havent seen, guess I'll check them out.

« on: December 16, 2015, 06:10:22 AM »
It was actually uncovered a few months ago that Bungie was going to do this iirc. I think they also issued a statement saying that it was all outdated data they had no current plans to do this too.
Fair enough. The concept isn't necessarily bad, it's only the price that's got everyone worked up. Maybe they didn't announce that, I mean for $45 why would they? There would be outrage before it even hit the store.

Leveling subclasses takes quite a long time. Nowhere near 3-4 hours.
You're right, though I didn't think I'd have to be so specific.
Level 25 is achievable in that time, at which point you can level the majority of a subclass too.

Also, we've known about these packs for a long time now.
If you say so. Their forums only just exploded over this so don't blame me for doubting you. Not to say desticles are a credible source either.

Who cares? It's optional, it's not locking off content. If people wanna be stupid and give Bungie this much money, I couldn't care less. We get free content updates now because of this model.
It's about the principle.

Charging $45 for something you can do within 3-4 hours.
This close to Christmas there's obviously going to be an influx of new players. They're exploiting the ignorant.

I think the source is Aussie dollars.

Look at this shit. Look. At. This. Shit.

Character boosts, which aren't all that bad a concept, allows new players to catch up.

$45

FOARTEY FAIVE DALLARS

I didn't even pay that much for the full game.

You can literally do that in a day without spending a penny. Proof: I've done it (three times).

This comes only a week after they started charging $10 for a sparrow. What's worse is desticles are stupid enough to pay for this shit, which will only inspire competitors to do the same.
