Trying to prep for NG+ by stocking up on everything, farming winged knights using the rapport pyromancy. Cast it on one, pull the third and watch them fight occasionally throwing a fireball or two in. 52k souls per run w/ ring and shield.
Any recommendations for what level to be at starting NG+?
I started at ~120, though I didn't grind. That's what level I finished the game at. Honestly, I wouldn't go much higher than that or you'll have trouble matching with other players. I'd say cut off at around 130-40. My original character is over levelled to shit and now I can't match with anyone.

Any chance someone got a second Symbol of Avarice during their playthrough and would be willing to drop one? I've gone through all the mimics in my game and had no luck.
I got a spare. They both dropped in NG+. I'm on ps4.

It's so difficult to get them legitimately. I had to farm silver knights.
Yeah I bet that's irritating. I've only seen one blue summon.
Barely anyone is in the way of blue, so it's difficult to get summoned to begin with. What makes it worse is that the host is usually dead by the time you join or shortly after you've joined. It spawns you too far away so you can't even reach the invader in time. And if someone else kills the invader or the host enters a fog wall you don't receive the covenant item.

As for my Favorite boss it's definitely the Undead Legion at this point. That was a cool as hell fight,
Dont heal the sigil, you need it for the true ending. Also her questline is great. Just kill her after you finish the game. All you get is that shitty dark drift anyway.

Okay, so parrying is a little more consistent the further you get into the game. Makes short work of Lothric Knights. Gundyr also has quite a wide parry window.
The dudes outside Firelink only seem to have one attack that can be parried, which is odd.

If there's one thing I love from Bloodborne, its the OST and the DLC surely delivered too
Ludwig has one of the best themes and boss fights in the entire souls series. Bloodborne's OST as a hole completely trumps any souls game. Lady Maria had the best theme tbh. I really hope 3's DLC is on par with the Old Hunters.

GJ bro. His bird was easy solo with GL Spear, but I just couldn't beat him without summons. Gonna try solo him in NG+.

Do you go right into NG+ when you finish the game?, or you can wait and choose it when you want like in 2.
It gives you the option once you finish. If you say no you can return to Firelink and start over from the bonfire just like in DS2.

Can someone explain the way Yoel, his free levels and hollowing works?
It's all part of his questline which is intertwined with Yuria's and Anri's. I think it can also determine which ending you get, though I'm not sure. Yoel will die if you receive all five, heal the dark sigil or kill a certain number of bosses without receiving all five. Easiest thing to do is to just kill your self over and over until you reach 25 hollowing. 5 free levels so you might as well do it. No negative impact either, other than prune face. If you heal the dark sigil or kill the mimic in Church of Yorshka, Yuria will disappear, thus ending the questline.

Halberd is a beast for PvP. Buffed with sunlight blade the damage is insane.
Makes invaders shit their pants, though it does encourage more chugging.

Nope, just their ashes which gives you their entire inventory, spells and all.
They didn't say anything worth talking about either. Just the occasional "why?" and "please don't do this".

Yuria? Yeah I healed the dark sigil so she fucked off mid-game.
