Any good strength weapons that can be buffed?
FUG is too heavy and got hit pretty hard by the nerf. Struggling to find anything with a higher AR than DSGA.
Greatsword all day every day.
I have. a +10 Greatsword I've been rotating, but DSGA has higher physical and a higher overall AR than GS even after buff. Great axe has roughly the same AR after buff, but the range is horrible.

For the people struggling with getting a Symbol of Avarice, there is a way to get one guaranteed per playthrough. Using Lloyd's Talismans (or Hunter Charms, whatever they're called now) on a mimic will cause them to give up their reward without becoming hostile. Throw charm, loot mimic, hit mimic once, throw charm, check if he dropped Avarice, hit again, throw another charm, repeat ad infinitum. Just stock up on charms from the Handmaiden and then use them on the same mimic until he drops one.
I knew this but I still killed the last mimic like a dumbass.

Turns out I can't transfer any of my gear over since my main is over levelled as fuck.
I'm on NG+ as long as we use a password it should be cool right?
Do you have any of the rings?
I'm not so sure how it works, but we can try. I have a few of the +1 rings and Darkmoon ring. This character is pretty much disposable. I just want my symbol and mats transferred over.

What's the best starting class for a str/faith build?
Cleric looks great, minimal int and dex, but a lot of wasted points in luck. Also need pretty high vit lugging around a UGS.

Vanilla DS2 was kinda shit, the DLC was the highlight of the game,
All those unique environments and enemies. I especially loved their stories and how they were independent from vanilla, Ivory King in particular.
Best lore. He was the true protagonist, not that undead faggot. The atmosphere entering his boss room for the first time with his Knights in tow and the fight itself puts it on par with Artorias and the Nameless King.
Sinh and Raime were the two best and most challenging bosses, only second to IK.
DLC is the only thing that game did right.

Respec'd to a quality build, kind of disappointed you can't change your base class though since I'm stuck with a high int and faith.

You need a Pale Tongue, which can be aquired by invading and killing someone, or dropped by some enemies. In the rafters part of the Cathedral of the Deep, you can drop down onto a balcony, then drop down to another balcony next to it full of maggot things. Carry on from there to find a woman sitting in a bed that lets you alter your appearance or respec.

Need suggestions.
I've got a bunch of different things I could try, need suggestions on what works.
Currently I'm level 83, here's my stats
VIG-24
ATT-16
END-20
VIT-14
STR-18
DEX-30
INT-12
FTH-30
Luck-9
My current main weapons are a Sharp Estoc+8 and a Carthus Curved Sword +8
I have access to the Lightning Blade and Sacred Oath miracles.
What could I do to get the most out of this? If I change my weapon's infusion to Lightning, will it get even more buffed by Lightning Blade? I mainly only use the Faith for healing and buffs.
You can't buff an infused weapon, at least from the ones I've used. A buffed weapon will have a higher damage value than an infused weapon, but obviously the effect is only temporary. So pick what ever appeals to you the most. I would try grinding concord kept for Darkmoon blade. Applies magic damage but it's considered a miracle so it scales with faith. With lightning blade and dark blade, faith builds have almost complete elemental coverage.
