i buy cassette tapes for a dollar a piece. a single cd can go as his as 25 bucks. i can buy 25 albums on cassette for the price of a single cd. i'd be making my money back pretty quickly.

Casettes have compatability issues, poor quality and it's difficult to find any modern music that's published on tapes. The player itself doesn't have the portability, capacity or convenience of a digital player. It makes for a nice vintage collectors item but not something you could actively use without looking like an arse.
