What can you do with Sep7agon points? Well here are some of the items I am proposing.
Prestige: Cost 30,000 Sep7agon points - prestige is just like how it is in the MW2 or MW3. Its an entire rank reset. You will still have your posts but you will default back to a "Member" with a prestige badge next to your display name. This is good for those that wish to have a clean slate for whatever reason. The only wait to get it back is to keep posting until you reach your original rank.
Supporter: Cost 800 Sep7agon points - Removes website ads for a month.
Foxy Grandpa: Costs 50 Sep7agon points - Adds a Foxy Grandpa badge right next to your avatar for a year.
Lightsaber: Costs 30 Sep7agon points - Adds a lightsaber badge right next to your avatar for a year, this one can be customized in your settings to what color you want the blade and the glow to be with a color wheel.
Pure autism: Costs 15 Sep7agon points - Replaces all user avatars with random autistic avatars for a year.
All of these can also be toggled on and off in your settings, except for prestige, that one will affect your actual rank so you must be absolutely sure before you purchase that under paid subscriptions. You can earn 1 Sep7agon point by posting or liking threads, 5 by upvoting, but there will be a limit to prevent spam of points. Alternately you can add your credit card to buy a preset amount of Sep7agon points for an X amount of US Dollars or Euros, that all would be up to Cheat to decide.
Anyway, that's my retarded idea. I don't even know if this shit is feasible on SMF software but I just thought I'd share that with you since Paid Subscriptions is currently blank.

I agree in that Hollywood is extremely stale in the past 20 years or so over how it handles story telling, especially since almost all movies these days are either extremely shallow or adaptions of books so the story is either flat or everyone who was going to bother watching it already knows how it's going to play out because they read the book. This is still hazardous thinking though, because the whole point of a surprise in the story is that it feeds off the viewer's reaction to it. Spoiling it ruins the whole point to begin with. Yeah, it sucks that X scenario happened to Y character but if you felt strongly about that character and it makes you upset or happy, then the surprise did it's job in invoking emotion out of you over the path the story is taking.
Fans of Evangelion 3.0 wouldn't have gone so ape shit if the movie had played out exactly as they have been speculating for three years. Everyone was speculating every wild thing under the moon over how the movie was gonna play out and when it comes out and does something completely different...well long story short, it hold a pretty solid 3/5 stars for most watchers not because it's a legitimate 3/5 but because everyone votes it either 1/5 or 5/5.
Spoiling it ruins the emotion which is the whole point in telling a story, you may choose to feel a certain way over it, but other people are very passionate about their interests. How do you think the now late-Daniel would have felt had he been spoiled before he saw the rough cut of the movie? Probably miserable. Some people are that serious.
Then this is why you go dark from not just Sep7agon, the entire internet.
Now... I'm not going to spoil shit anymore, and I used to let spoilers get to me. But with the amount of crap these days that comes out from Hollywood and the gaming industry, getting spoiled became rather a preference of mine, because I get to know shit that the majority don't know. In short, I don't like surprises.
Sorry bud, this is the real deal whether you like it or not. Everything from the posting style to the over dramatic upcoming apocalypse. I see. I suppose I just gave up in terms of keeping it a surprise because I feel like there isn't really good coming out of it. I kinda wish I had Spider-Man 3 spoiled before I saw it tbh. That doesn't help when you go to actually see the movie and you find the "spoiler" you try to force yourself from believing is being set up in the story. This doesn't create a thrill of seeing whether or not it happens that viewers want, instead it creates a tension where the viewer is telling themselves they don't want it to happen when they know it's going to happen because it will ruin the surprise.

The original intent with me to spoil the movie was to only piss Roman off. My biggest mistake was deciding to spoil it for everyone else in the process after coming back from a 2 day ban.

Most people do go dark and take a ton of precautions when it comes to this stuff. But all it takes is some asshole to go and ruin that in less than 5 seconds.
Additionally in Roman and Cheat's case, Roman's thread literally said he hadn't seen it before in the post. So of all places it was literally that one thread that people had to avoid posting spoilers and it happened to be the owner of the site who went and did it.
Who even cares? That spoiler is so old, its been around since the 6th book came out. If I thought of my intentions properly, I would have still spoiled the movie for Roman outside of Sep7agon just because of the shit he brings to the site, the same tiredass threads over and over again about him trying to get pussy even after he got pussy. You'd think after that shit he'd stop but no. I now know that Roman isn't even worth the effort.
