One trick that I have seen to make this work in photos is holding a cat up to your face pointing in the direction of the camera. It works really well in video at least...

I have a spooky pic to share too. I've posted this before on that other site and here on Sep7 too I think. This was around 4 years ago when my sister took this picture of her car in the driveway. As you can see, there's some sort of figure to the top of the tail light.
I've been coming back to look at this pic every once in a while and can never find out what it is. Could be some sort of reflection or something.

Anyway, the answer is that javascript is failing to load for you. My best guess is that it's whatever extension you have installed that is making that message in the lower left appear as the page is loading.
She* So that's the cause of it. I had that happen to me with ad-block plus before on Firefox but not with Chrome. I'm using uBlock now and its fine still on Chrome. Can't speak the same for Firefox anymore. Oh shit wait. I didn't even see that message at the bottom. I thought she was talking about the big empty space between the banner and the board. Okay I never had that before.
