The Flood / Re: I love The Cleveland Show« on: January 27, 2016, 10:54:00 PM »No, I was ten when I first started watching it.I like Family Guy more. The thing about Family Guy is that I love it so much. Honestly one of the funniest shows in existence, I've watched it since I was around ten. But because of that, I've seen the episodes so many times. When someone introduces a cutaway ("this is worse than that time when..."), I can call exactly what's going to happen before it even starts. The show is amazing, but I really can't get any enjoyment out of anything less than a new episode. Look at my signature, lol. Oh. Still, how old are you? 7834

The Flood / Re: So some of my files just up and vanished from my One Drive (help)« on: January 27, 2016, 10:47:32 PM »Yeah honestly, I've learnt a lot in the last few years from just searching shit up on the internet. Trying things out. That was my first move when I saw my files were gone, but... oh well. Water under the bridge. I have been there before in the past. My computer that I've had since 2005 is in the closet now. Its a standard Dell computer. Dimension 5100. Never bought it. My brother-in-law and sister gave it to me after they got another one in 2007. Maybe it was great over 10 years ago but its utter shit for everything else aside from web browsing, and it was loud as hell. Only 1 stock fan to cool the CPU, it was not enough at all. The computer I have no is so much better. I didn't have time to build mine, but its a prebuilt gaming rig by iBuyPower and I got pretty good specs. I actually need to upgrade the graphics card since its beginning to age, but that's the beauty of it, I can replace or upgrade any part of it. The other computer all I was able to do was buy a 4GB stick of RAM from Frys because it only had 1GB of ram and that was horrible for Windows 7. It was an XP computer. It was 25mb of RAM each by stick. Replaced one and now its 4.75GB RAM But yeah, I am very happy with my gaming computer. It is to this day, the most expensive piece of hardware I have ever bought in my entire life. I've had it since 2012. 7837
The Flood / Re: So some of my files just up and vanished from my One Drive (help)« on: January 27, 2016, 10:37:41 PM »I know to many I'm considered to be a fucking autistic retard that doesn't know when to shut the fuck up, but if you are having computer problems of any kind, ESPECIALLY if its Windows related, please do not hesitate to send me a PM. You're welcome, and its all trial and error at the end of the day. Even me being completely savvy, there are some things that could be beyond my control and you would need to take it to someone who has the necessary proprietary hardware or software to help out. This one time a MacOSX computer at school fucked up my 4GB flash drive and some how landed the thing onto write protect mode. I could not delete or add anymore files, and its not designed to be in write protect mode at all. I even took it to the school's IT guy for help, who is really good with a lot of shit and gets paid for this kind of shit, even he couldn't find a solution. I ended up destroying the flash drive. It was only $8 at Office Depot so it wasn't too bad. I bought a replacement 8GB of it for $10 and have been careful with Macs ever since. 7838

I think we can all learn a valuable lesson in this thread.
Buy or use an external HDD if you already have one. If its full, buy another. Cloud Storage is a massive risk taker in my personal experience, your files are not 100% guaranteed to be safe guarded by it and the more the storage space the more it can cost monthly. System restore is only useful for local files and registry keys that haven't been changed. I would recommend system restore only if you fucked up Windows somehow if you messed with reg edit. I know to many I'm considered to be a fucking autistic retard that doesn't know when to shut the fuck up, but if you are having computer problems of any kind, ESPECIALLY if its Windows related, please do not hesitate to send me a PM. I know my shit, I know what I'm doing. I grew up and fucked with Windows for nearly an entire decade now. 7839

The Flood / Re: I'm designing a Sep7agon card game« on: January 27, 2016, 10:01:07 PM »What's the reason you leave black borders and not increase the image size? I thought it was suppose to fill the space.I don't want to make the image look bad. What software do you use to make images? If its Photoshop CC 2015 like me, there is a third automate feature that you can install called perfect size that resizes nearly every image without losing any quality, sometimes the transform tool and holding shift is enough. It really depends on the image I guess. 7846

I'm out of ideas in terms of extra cards. The Anonymous card was the only good one I had.
Maybe I can refine that one? What image would you what for Anonymous Boss? 7854

Really handy for that. That's what I mainly use it for, to cut things open, and to carve any sticks when hiking. Hopefully I'll never have to use it on a person. |
