Hey there Deci. Something kind of similar happened to me with fireworks. I also ran down the stairs in my old place pantsless, but carrying an energy sword replica when I thought someone broke into the main part of the house. Turns out, my friend had just gotten home from the bar (it was about 02:30), and she had knocked over the Christmas tree while drunk. I found her lying in a in a mess of tree needles and ornaments, so I left her there and went back to sleep.
You left her in front of broken ornaments and tree needles? Why didn't you help her up at the very least?
Have you ever tried to lift/help out a blacked out slightly over-weight woman? It is no easy feat.

I actually didn't choose this, but it was "given" to me by friends.
A short run down: Kondo Isao is the leader of the Shinsengumi, a special military police force that acts as law enforcement in Edo and are in service to the Shogun. He's stupid and goofy, but also knows when to put his foot down and take things seriously. All around though he's a genuinely good person even if it doesn't seem like it at times.
Also he almost never wears pants within the confines of his own home and has a hairy ass.
