I used to want to work in the gaming industry. But that was when I was one of those teenagers who thought they'd end up working for Bungie just because they liked playing Halo.
I was one of those teenagers too, but I still wanted to make games regardless if I ended up in Bungie or not, and you know what? I still fucking do. Too bad the video game industry is turning into trash. I'm going to stay indie and just make my own shit. I don't care if a million people play it or no one plays it. My club and I are going to attempt to tap into the mobile market because that is where most of the money is going now.
