Nah, I didn't take it seriously and now that I'm starting to remember it more clearly that's why I didn't perma deci when a certain crowd was calling for his head and trying to use it as justification.

No, I don't recall them making any statement at all.
Let me try to remember what happened:
Last summer, Kiyo started sending random people PMs containing sensitive information gathered from HQ. I got at least one, unfortunately. The last thing she posted was a thread threatening to dump a mass of that information publicly, all at once--and the next thing you know, she got lite-banned. She had the little red X in her titlebar.
I thought that was kind of fishy. A former mod threatens to leak a ton of staff-privy things, and she only gets lite-banned for it? It seemed kinda like bullshit to me, but everyone just kind of forgot about it after that.
No statements were made, and it was just assumed that Kiyo left and never came back.
Turns out she was perma'd the whole time.

Something I haven't really told anyone here, but I'll share. Even though I never personally met my ex and our relationship was pretty much on the internet, she told me that if she wanted to, she could have held me down and raped me.
She's a big girl so the reality of that is pretty real. Men can get raped by women just like how women can get raped by men. Its a real thing.

Kiyo was voted in for creating the second offsite forum on Proboards and running it for maybe the span of two or three days until that one was nuked as well ha. Basically it held the community that wanted to separate from B.net together just long enough for our new internet home, Sep7, to be established and introduced to us.
Yeah Kiyo is a manipulative bitch. I remember the second offsite very well. Even the first one because I was part of it. Noelle and Kiyo both false reported that one and it got shut down.
Deci, I'm sorry to tell you but I really don't care about your opinion of some person I'm never probably going to have any interaction with again.

I know, and it was a mistake to vote for Kiyo. I believe most of the people just wanted drama to happen. Regardless if Kiyo had most of the votes or not, she was extremely unfit and unstable. I would have overruled it and said "No, not gonna happen." if I personally was Cheat. But alas. The past is the past.
