A lot of black people these days get really offended when it comes to discussing some trivial subjects, you on the other hand where able toss that shit aside. they make different types of switches for different people, cherry makes blues, reds, blacks, browns and im not sure what else but they feel different from each other
there's also topres and buckling springs, alpine switches, etc
though i guess some people really just prefer flat profile keyboards, they dont make any of the above like that iirc
